    Default So angry right now!

My DS was diagnosed with ASD a few weeks ago. I knew it was a very strong possibility and I gave ex all reports from specialists and their contact details. I told ex that DS has autism about a month ago and now ex will not phone him. He is flat out refusing all contact from him. So is his parents. Today I was informed that they don't want anything to do with him anymore and they are denying child is their son/grandchild. I am so mad right now for my son. Apparently ex has new child who is 'normal' so DS has been tossed into the rejection bin because he's a bit more work.

    I can't believe what I'm reading.

Thats horrendous. Actually I can't even think of what to say except I'm so sorry for your son and yourself for having to put with such dispicable behaviour from them. I hope they come to their senses but even so, they should be utterly ashamed!

I hope someone here can offer some support re dealing with autism. Lucky DS has you xx

I'm wishing for large pimples or boils on all of their bums right now. DS isn't yet three and his father hasn't been huge part of his life apart from game playing and screwing with his head, but for him to reject him as he's SNs is a low blow. Sad thing is that I'm pretty sure that ex is on the spectrum so he could have a strong possibility of having more kids with SNs. I gave him a few weeks to fully process the whole thing before I tried to talk to him again.

My old boss had an ex who was very similar. They have 3 kids together, DD1 is "normal" (although a bit of a diva lol), DS has Autism and DD2 has Bi Polar Disorder. He got to my work and said he would only take the older one, he won't be seen in public with any "abormal" child. So she said no, you take them all or they all stay with me, end of story. The pig said it right in front of the kids

Wow, I'm continuously surprised at how horrible some people can be, to deny your own child!!!!! Wtf?!?

To be honest, your son is probably better off without this man and his family. Luckily he has a mum who loves and supports him

God, what an a$$ your ex is!!
