Default What can I wear to a funeral?

I need help, I have a funeral on Wednesday but I don't have any pants to wear, I have black leggings I coul wear with a pair of black or brown boots but I don't have a top that would be suitable to wear with them (not for a funeral)
I have tops that will go with jeans and same boots with a long black jacket/cardigan, but are jeans not right for a funeral?
Drawback of a Sahm, living in a country town on a dairy farm :/ I have no decent clothes

Jeans are totally acceptable at a country funeral. At least in my extended family they are. Of the dozen or so country funerals I have been to I think at least half of attendees are in jeans.

Thanks, they are good jeans and if I wear my long boots and a long top you won't see much of them anyway

Shouldn't matter. I wear jeans and driza -bone mist of the time as they always seem to be on wet wintery days and out doors too.

I think jeans are acceptable at a country funeral. I think with the cardigan you described you would look fine. People aren't going to mind what you are wearing.

    Sorry for your loss.

Jeans would definitely be ok in the country. Standard attire at our church. Sorry for your loss.

Thanks all, I guess I just have my mother & grandmothers voice in my head telling me 'you can't wear jeans' lol.
