Default Ever feel like you're drowning...???

It's ok to grieve for what was hun, regardless of how happy you are now I would be upset at that too and I am absolutely ecstatic to not be with my husband anymore.

Sometimes crying can be cathartic so let yourself cry, just allow it for tonight because tomorrow is a new day

Thank you I am just struggling a bit with feeling this way. I've built up an amazing emotional wall and I'm not coping with the sudden set back. I did not elect to feel this way.

No one ever elects to feel the way they feel hun, feelings are annoying that way. Even the most disciplined of people can be affected by this sort of thing.

You come across as someone who is pretty much always in control, so I can imagine feeling this way would be a shock for you. Don't be too hard on yourself though.

We can't control our feelings, don't hold back, feel what you need to feel. You will be stronger for it.

It's only natural to grieve the loss of a relationship regardless of why it ended. Big hugs OP.

I often get overwhelmed by everything and feel like I'm drowning. Sometimes you just need 10 mins by yourself with a cuppa or a good cry in the shower and soldier on. Good luck.
