    Default Raspberry leaf...what's the go?

I took it from 36 weeks (tablets). I went 10 days early, while my labour was long and got a bit messy with waters not breaking etc the pushing stage was less than 1 hour and I only had after pains for maybe a day. I highly recommend them.

    Good luck!

Just to further add info, my labours were 2hr43min and 4hrs and pushing stage was very quick (around 5 mins or less). I did get terrible afterpains with DD2 though so the tea didn't help at all with that but they only lasted 2 days.

its said that it can bring the labour on early and/or stimulate contractions early so it's advised not too. Probably has a lot to do with how much you take and how sensitive you are to it but I guess its best to play it safe and drink heaps/take the tabs from 32 weeks

My bottle says to take two tablets a day - would you take them at one go or one in the morning and one at night - or doesn't it make any difference??

I take one am and the other pm, as it was making my braxton hicks too uncomfortable if I took one big dose.

I took 2 a day from 30 weeks (DS was born on his due date) 1 in the morning with breakfast and 1 with dinner. Everything I read prior to taking them said it does not contribute to early labour and the naturopath I saw also agreed it doesn't cause you to go into labour early just helps to tone you uterus and make contractions more effective when you body goes into labour

Agree. Infact it can also protect against early labour by strengthening your uterus. Each to their own though
