Have you considered an osteopath that works with children?

Nope. But only because I know nothing about osteopaths... what do they do?

Yeah. I think at the start it is hard, but once they get going it's nice that they can take themselves around the house without you having to carry them to the next room etc. lol

They take a holistic approach to healing and wellbeing. But can also manipulate the body. To be honest I don't know much about them but took my DD this morning to one and it was amazing. She hasn't screamed for 2 to 3 hours like normal tonight. Crazy! I am going to do a thread about it.

Our 1 year old had a funny lean and severe reflux- we took her to see our GP and also a Chiro. GP referred us straight to the royal children's as our baby has a curve in her spine (dx of progressive infantile scoliosis). We are currently under the care of a wonderful chiropractor who has reduced her curve marginally but also gives her great pain relief and relief from her reflux and also the orthopaedic team at the hospital. If she gets worse they will plaster her into a straighter position. I would certainly seek out a good Chiro but also please get the back x rayed- our Chiro after seeing her spine requested to see her x rays the hospital did anyway as its so obviously out of place. Hugs and I hope your son is far easier to fix but please see a good GP too

I have been taking my now 5 mth old to Bill Pyrke at Duncraig since he was just over 2 months. He's fantastic. DS had a very flat head form favoring his right side and Bill has really done marvelous things. He is lovely and gentle. DS loves seeing him.

Hi OP! I met by accident Miles Upton from Up! Chiropractic in Leederville, he comes very highly recommended. My son has always been very irritable/not sleeping well/reluxy/cranky. I saw him once when he was very little and I was amazed at the things he showed me, and how hmy son was after we had left. I didn't continue with the chiro, however after reading this post am very interested to hear your experience, how did you go and who did you end up seeing?
