Default Sick of dressing like a drunk 10 year old

Hi all! I need a little fashion advice.

I am 16 months post partum after 2nd DD, and now that my weight has normalized, I am in need of some new duds. Of course my body is...well...different, so none of my old clothes fit and my current wardrobe is mainly made up of beach cover-ups, leggings, old maternity tops (that my boobs can no longer fill out), and hoodies.

I am a 35+ SAHM and I frequently stay home because I have nothing to wear. We are a one car family and I am not familiar with the stores in Australia. Can someone please recommend an appropriate place to shop that won't cause my bank card to burst into flames?

My husband thanks you in advance

What state/city are you in? As well as what has already been mention (Emerson by BigW is REALLY good for basics), I find Temt, Paper Scissors and Valley Girl good - they basically do low cost knock-offs of designer brands. My cousin works in Tigerlily which is very pricey, I usually go in there, try a few things on, then try and find the best remake from one of those three stores!!
In the mid-range, Glassons is really nice too, and Crossroads often has some reasonable stuff too. Though they can be a bit hit and miss!

I would recommend www.asos.com - free delivery to Australia and they have some lovely items of clothing.

www.topshop.com is one of my favourite online stores, they a bit more pricey but their basic tops are great and very good quality compared to other basics I have bought in Australia.

If you didn't want to shop online then I would also recommend Big W.

Miniriz I'm also a 35+ SAHM with a dodgy wardrobe and limited budget I second Emerson in bigw, I keep an eye on rockmans to, most of their stuff is for older women but you can pick up some good basic pieces. I like target but not so much KMart or cotton on, harder to find non-junky stuff. Hth
