Please Help

Hi everyone

I am reaching out to you all in the hope of finding out more information in regards to finding a surrogate in qld.

I have been going through IVF for over 4 years now. My partner and i were informed 2 weeks ago by our fertility specialist that there was nothing more she could do for us and that our journey had come to an end.

My initial feeling was complete devastation and was left asking "How could this be happening to me" ?????????

I suffer from Asherman's syndrome. I have had two surgeries in the hope to make my uterus viable to hold a pregnancy. During IVF i harvested 9 eggs in which 6 fertilised.

During my constant cycles i had success with a chemical pregnancy which i miscarried early on and have since had transfers with no success.

I have tried every medication known to mankind even "viagra vaginally" (go figure) but unfortunately my lining only ever got to 4.2mm and it needed to be 7.5mm.

As devastating this journey has been i am sooooooo lucky to have 3 precious embryos left which my fertility specialist has expressed if we continued to try with transfers they would be wasted

My fertility specialist has expressed to us that our only option now to have our baby is to find a surrogate.

WOW how do we do this?????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????

I am the only girl of six and my brothers have either started or finished having families of their own and all my friends are just beginning to start or adding to their families.

I am truly at a loose end and am starting to believe that i am NEVER going to get the family that i have always dreamed of

I would be sooooooooo grateful to anyone that has any ideas on how we can get through this terrible time

Hi Zeddie, My name is Bec and i am one of MANY surrogates out there. Please don't feel like this will never happen for you. You have made a great start by putting your story ot there. The best thing advice i can give you is to join as many forums as you can and get your story out there. Some others i can recommend to you are egg donation australia, surrogacy australia, surrogacy sisters and most importantly the surrogacy australia facebook site. This has heaps of memebers that are both looking for a surrogate or to be a surrogate or who are already going through surrogacy at the moment. I can't even imagine how devastated you must be righ now but please try to have hope. There are people out there willing to carry a child for a complete stranger. You just need to keep looking and find the right match. I really wish you all the best and i look forward to hearing more from you soon!

Hi Bec my name is Selena thank you so much for your reply it is nice to hear some positive news for a change I think it is important to stay positive but it has been really hard. Thank you for your suggestions about other forums and I will definitely register with them I admire you so much what a WONDERFUL thing you are doing.
