Default Agh - Parents who sit in their car while their kids play

I would have judged too. Kids that little should always have an eye on them. Plus, the playground is for playing. Not playing on your phone.

I didn't think there needed to be much of an elaboration, kids car seat aged need to be supervised when at a playground.

I'll write you a novel next time beebs.
See now I'm judging you - walking and posting with kids.. I mean where's the supervision

BlissedOut - I think they used to be for preschoolers? The rules have changed recently though.

Thanks, I just checked, it's kids under 26kg. I was judging all my family for not using them for their 7 and 6yos, but realised their kids are all over 26kgs.

Will have to hunt me down a mother feeding her kids horse carrots at Maccas or something now.

Quick come down my way and I'll go to maccas and let DS munch on a celery stick while I eat 4 big macs

Anyhow, I do agree with you. I can't believe she didn't get out of the car to supervise once you stopped her kid from going on the road?

    I do this...

I am in tears a lot lately..so I drive to the park...let the kids out and sit there trying to deal with my emotions..
sometimes I just email people..or message them all the stuff in my head..
I guess it looks bad but I do not want my kids to see how damn upset I am at the moment...and I do not want to send them away.

The playground is for PLAYING??? oops, here I was thinking it was for bishy bored mums to all judge each other. I mean, that's why I go. And also because on Friday arvos it's full of mums and dads drinking vino and ignoring their toddlers and preschoolers. Gawd, I can't believe you'd sit in your car and miss that!
