See the problem is, in the opening post it didn't seem so bad, and when you started getting responses you didn't like you kept adding to the story until she sounded like an awful mother doing the complete wrong thing.

Why don't people just say the whole story upfront? That type of thing happens all the time on bubhub, and I just never know if by the end, with all the little parts added if the story is actually completely true. If it was, wouldn't you just say the way it was it in the first place???

I posted from my phone while walking home.

I didn't think there needed to be much of an elaboration, kids car seat aged need to be supervised when at a playground.

I'll write you a novel next time beebs.

Actually kids are in car seats until 7. I don't see a problem supervising a 6 year old from the car depending on their maturity level. In fact I like that.. giving children *some* sort of independance as they grow older. Rather than just hit high school and suddenly their on their own catching buses to and from school etc.

    Oh noooooooooooo..let me write it....
once upon a time there was a nice lady who went to the park and played with her children. A bad lady turned up on a dragon and let her little troll children run riot around the park setting things on fire. Thankfully the nice lady had a bucket of water, and when she threw it on the fire to put it out it splashed on the bad lady and she and her troll children disappeared in a puff of smoke...but left the dragon behind, so all of the other children in the park could have a magical ride.

Default Agh - Parents who sit in their car while their kids play

I did start out that way - but then I thought hey - I like my 'walk a mile in her shoes dialogue'. I was surprised to see the thread started by you OP as I know you've been around long enough not to start a 'horse carrots in maccas and a coke for breakfast type thread'.

I always thought car seats were for pre-schoolers for some reason.

They were all shorter than my 2yo, but that's not unusual.
