Default First time going to church

I have no religion in my background upbringing etc but have had this nagging feeling to go to the local church for a few months now. But I keep chickening out - I think because I have no idea what to expect! Are people welcoming? Is it ok to bring a toddler? It's a small country town... there are a few churches but one stands out that I would go to. Do you just show up and walk in? I'm sure these seem like stupid questions but it's all just so new to me! And it's Sunday tomorrow so trying to prep myself... haha.

It's ok to bring a toddler but I would sit in the back near the exit. If your child plays up you can make a quick get away without and entire congregation looking at you doing the mummy walk of shame. Also, Just a heads up, the closer to the front seats you go is where the hugely devout church members sit themselves. Some of them can be nosey at best with reformation.

Absolutely just turn up! Sit where you like and enjoy. I should certainly hope people would be welcoming, I am sure they would be. Just be yourself. I have tried for too many years to try and be what I thought i had to be in church. Let us know how you go! Xo
