Del, I know you are not planning on going down the ivf path, but would ovulation induction with fsh (as spud said) and maybe IUI an option?

Just a quick message because I really am not up to anything, the pain is too much to bear and my heart is broken. I went for my OB appointment yesterday afternoon and despite there being a very healthy heartbeat on Sunday at 179bpm, my baby has died. I have to have a D&C on Tuesday, I was 9.5 weeks.

I am so so sorry for your loss.

Please please ask your Dr for some antibiotics to take at least two days prior to your procedure on Tuesday. I know that this is an awful time for you and so scary and you end up numb. The antibiotics can help your lining recover. Also ask if they can complete the procedure guided by ultrasound.

Again I am so sorry. I have gone through what you are going through, twice now. If you want more details on the whys of the antis and ultrasound guidance I'm here, but do NOT let your Dr dissuade you from the antibiotics.

My thoughts are with you. I am so sorry. Xx
