    Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd give you all a quick update as I had another scan yesterday. After what was an anxiety filled time, I was glad when it was finally over. I'd had a bit of stressful week with DP being a bit silly and I was so scared they were going to find something terrible. But, I think we must have a girl on board cause it appears this baby's a stayer!

We're 1 day behind in growth (I was 8w1d yesterday) the scan showed exactly 8 weeks, 17mm, bubs has arms and legs that are clearly visible on the scan and heartbeat is 155bpm. I can't even begin to tell you how relieved I was when it was all over, I was bawling my eyes out. Special thanks to the FB group of ladies who quite honestly were my rock when I was falling apart.

    Hope everyone is well :-)

Thanks Lama. My first cycle of clomid has been a failure. Just waiting for AF to arrive now. I've set a limit of 5 more clomid cycles and then we give up. I don't see us having another child, so I'm just going thru the motions now so I know I've given clomid a good go. it could be as little as 2 cycles bc the gyno said if I wasn't pg on 3 cycles clomid wasn't going to ever work and then next step would have to be IVF - which isn't an option. So it could be as soon as July we give up on our dreams.

Aw Del that's not fair!!! Hopefully the next cycle works and your body copes a bit better with all those nasty side effects. Big hugs and please have a huge glass of wine for me when the witch arrives!

Thanks girls It's frustrating as my boobs have actually gotten sorer today and I've had a lot of symptoms. But another BFN at 12 DPO today and a temp drop so def out.

It's becoming very hard to stay positive...

Del I'm so sorry. Please don't give up though. DP used to always say to me (and so did you) that you must never give up faith, it will happen. Never lose hope. There were times where I struggled to believe you both and on some days, I just refused to believe end of story. But when I refused to have faith and hope, your strength and his carried me through. Don't give up, Del, I'll continue to have faith for you. xx

    Hi ladies,
Hope you are all well and little ones are snuggling right in and or are getting ready to come into the world.

This is really a Del post as i have lots of options for her:
Ok, I was on Chlomid (horrible drug got up to 200mg and barely ovulated). Went and saw different specialist who hates Chomid and had me on Letrozole (ovulated more regularly with less side affects). Current FS has me on FSH injections for ovulation and i have ovulated EVERY SINGLE time (unfortunately it's not resulting in a pregnancy yet) but still. So it's not IVF is Ovulation Induction (each cycle costs $400 which is a lot but less than IVF and then the drugs which are about $80.

So basically hun, before u consider giving up, there are some other drug options that just in my opinion are much better working and much better on your body both physically and mentally. Chlomid is not the only option and if it's not working i would try something else.
Thinking of you, don't give up just yet.

Spud, it's great to hear that there are some other non-IVF options for Del yet. I think all of us here would be devastated if she had to give up as she's been through so much already to try to get her sticky bub! I'm still crossing everything that next month is her month (and yours too!!).
