    Default frustrated

Hi Delirium, thanks for answering my post. I know exactly what you mean when people say "it'll be okay you'll get pregnant again" I have a friend that is 26 and has had 2 children easier than anything else she's ever done and she's always saying "it'll happen" I love her to bits but boy it gets up my nose. I don't know but I would assume that the ones who do have kids would really know what it's like to lose a bubba???? I can appreciate the ones who don't have kids wouldn't relate to the loss as they have never felt that bond between bub and mum.
I too am looking for a new gyno/obs as the one I have now is just too blazee for my liking and just put me on clomid and said "it'll happen"
I went ans saw a fertility specialist and that was horrible.....she basically said she can start me on FSH (ovulation induction injections) and wanted to write me up a script there and then!!!! she spent more time talking fees rather than explaining what the plan would be for me. I don't know it seems nobody has any compassion or empathy for what we have gone through. I really don't know what to do or where to try and find a doctor that will listen aswell as take your money! lol.
Again delirium thanks for answering my post, it's nice to have someone to talk to..........save some red wine for me! lol

    Hi Angel

I am lurking but not sure if we will continue with our TTC journey. We are now looking at Fertility assitance and based on the stress it has put on our relationship so far and the distance to the centre I don't know. I want another child but we are having a bit of a break to work out what we want. WE started TTC buibs number two almost 2 years ago. One misscarriage and I think a chemical/ false positive last month? I am just focussing on getting healthy and happy and working on my and DH's relationship and we will see what happens.
Where are you based? If you are in SA my OB also works at repromed. After the miss he would have started the testing then (almost 12months before getting pregnant) but we chose to wait and see. A few of my friends have also used him and love him too. Good luck. IT sucks, that's all I can say

Hi Del - wine is good. I am glad you are 'ok'.

Lama - have a great new years Enjoy your holiday away

Ahh sorry I couldn't help you out Angel. I am sorry your fertility specialist didn't explain too much to you but it could be that because you were there seeing her that you wanted a solution to your issues. For her? it seemed 'simple' I guess sometimes they can forget that it isn't quite as simple as a prescription and hey presto everything is fixed. I know the clinic we are looking at going to - (where my OB does work and I had my D & C as that was where he was working that day) has counselling built into their fees and they have counsellors on site, I know we will be using htem if we go down the IVF track

    Hi girls

I've been on a very extended BH break but wanted to pop back in and say hi. I was the 'last man standing' from the very first threads, after Stretched I think, and I'm so pleased to let you know that I"m pregnant again and this time it looks like it is going to be ok. I've had five BTs and three scans and all looked really good. 12 week scan next week.

For those i haven't met I had five pregnancy losses in 15 months prior to this baby, including a failed IVF cycle. This baby was a natural conception on a break from TTC.

My love and best wishes to you all for a quick exit from this thread in 2013.

    xxx
