Del... Maybe a night out in the The Valley is in order then! Dance and drink our worries away...lol

Note..Disclaimer... Comment made in jest...in no way do I advocate planned drinking to excess, dancing topless and sleeping in gutters.

pickled - I completely understand what you mean. I think it is the whole 'murphy's law'/superstition thing. If yo udo everything you aren't supposed to you will get pregnant. I do drink. I am/have cut back. Also for my weight. After our loss I was drinking *a lot*. Came back from my scan when I found out it was non-viable and started drinking. Was with some great friends of ours and DH. They understood perfectoly how I felt.

Raelene - I htink you had the insight into the male brain? perhaps. It is a very male thing to want to protect us. Particularly for my DH. I just want to get knocked up this month. Who am I kidding . Any time now But I would be able to announce before christmas if I was. If I don't drink christmas day that will be a massive giveaway.

del - I am excited for you!!!! Soon all systems go!

Good luck everyone testing soon Please send babydust my way

I think that things just 'are' and sometimes they're sucky/ hard/ awful but I don't think we are predestined to do anything or have any number of children.

My mum tried to get pregnant for 5 years before I was born. I was the last cycle they did before she was giving up, and she had told her FS that they weren't doing any more. If they'd given up a cycle earlier then I wouldn't be here. I don't think that's destiny/ fate. I think I'm lucky to be here! And I certainly don't think that my parents deserved to go through that 5 years, or that the universe was trying to tell them anything. It was just really bad luck.

Will keep everything crossed for you for a BFP
Thanks Girl X. I think you may be right. I also know that this time of the month for me, every month that I don't have a BFP and I get AF instead, the anxiety is terrible because I don't know if it was my last month that I may have had an egg. When the FS told me about my AMH and get on to it sooner rather than later (as in within the next 6 months), I have to say, it scared the hell out of me. I asked her does that mean I will be menopausal in 6 months time but she said no, just that I may run out of eggs. So, given that I don't know when / if I am on my last egg, I panic that each month that passes is the last one and I am trying and trying but for no reason, I'll fail anyway. Every month around this time I literally face my infertility and it is so frightening. So, every month, I give it everything I have and can within my control and pray like there's no tomorrow that this will be it. Then, when it all goes to s**t, I just fall in a heap and cry. that this time it has worked and I don't have to go through all that anxiety again anymore because honestly I don't know how much more I can take. I think I'll POAS again tomorrow the FRER kind lol and that will be 5 days until AF is due. On the same cycle day tomorrow is when I started spotting last month so I'll pray again.

Im not a big drinker but have had a small glass with dinner occasionally. Nearly every pregnancy I have found out just after a big night out!
Pickled pink, I very rarely drink under normal circumstances but from around November last year to March? this year, I was drinking a glass or two of white wine per week. I try to be very careful because of the effects that it may have on developing eggs (I read the life cycle of an egg is 90 days from beginning to fertilisation/menstruation). Having said that, DH & I had a weekend away in margaret River about 3 months ago now I think and I got absolutely blotto...he doesn't drink wine so I had mine & his and double the liqueurs at the distillery. By the time we got back to the hotel, I was very, very happy and he thought it was hilarious. I haven't had a drink since. When I'm pregnant & breastfeeding I don't drink either. I don't know that the occasional drink is that harmful though

I did a post yesterday but it has gone.

Know that I am thinking of you RAelene

Fingers crossed Girl x - it must be so hard

Pickled? - Did you manage not to test. I have 50 OPK and 50 HPT - cheaper to buy that way I need DH to hide them. I test from 7DPO which is really ridiculous.

I do drink. I do try and stop from about 7-8 DPO. I may have 1-2 glasses but I have really cut back. I find that as GIrl X said that if you live half the month as you might be pregnant it is even more heartbreaking when you aren't. You then feel even more deprived. Of course it is worth it. It just has to happen.

    Thinking of everyone testing soon.

Super duper big hugs to Raelene and Girl x

Most importantly - Angelini - congratulations!!!!!!

Will have to come back later for a proper post.

I know... I've lost where we're up to now!

I got the clinic to bring my BT forward by one day, so I can stop the drugs if it's a negative (which it looks as though it is from home tests).

So I had the BT this morning, and waiting on the result. They should phone this afternoon. Not holding out any hope at all though. All the FRER tests were negative, and I'm not 12dp5dt (17dpo).

Hope everyone else is doing okay.
