    Hi everyone,

Hope your weekend is going well so far. I've taken five minutes to sit down and catch up on what's going on and give you all an update.

Sending big hugs to everyone, I think we all need them, happy or sad.

AFM - After a rocky start to the week, we both pulled our heads in. We've been under a bit of stress lately with my 19 year old moving back in with us, DH's ex not wanting to sign custody orders (we have them full-time, she gave them up, long story), we just sold our house 3 weeks ago and were told on Thursday that we have 28 days to vacate and we haven't been able to find another in time (or organise our finances). So, this week has been about trying to find a house to buy (at the beginning of the week) and then, when we realised we didn't have time to buy, we've been madly trying to get a rental for 6-12 months while we look for a house to buy. We've also had to try and organise finances to get pre-approval for a mortgage in the event that we find one and to top it all off, my business has been flat out.

We have somehow managed to DTD every 2nd day since the day AF ended and while my phone app says I should O today, I actually think I o'd on Thursday as I had really bad cramping (which I never get) that lasted most of the night. According to the phone app, my fertile period commenced on Monday and finishes tomorrow and we'll get another round of DTD in sometime today/tonight. I have no idea as to what CD I am on, or what DPO or when AF will come now because last month was all weird but , none the less, I guess if the TWW hasn't started, it will at worst tomorrow. We've given it as good a chance as we could in the circumstances. I do know from previous history though that usually when it rains for me it pours so, as the past would have it, I've been pregnant before when I had to move house and each time I've been pregnant lately, it has been in a really stressful environment. The lesson I took from those losses though was that I had to reduce the stress and manage it better if I am to have a sticky...so, fingers crossed, I have learnt the lesson well enough and we managed to catch the egg :-)

Have a great weekend everyone and if I'm absent for a few days, it's not cause I'm not sharing your journeys atm, it's purely trying to find somewhere to live! lol

Raelene - I am sorry to hear things have been super duper busy. Glad you and your DH managed to sort things out. I am pleased I made you feel 'normal' with the clothes. Seriously go and buy some new pants and shirts just 1-2 sets. Big W, Kmart, Target do have some nice things. People are surprised when they ask where I get some things from. Or there is ebay. IF they fit you now they will get you through that time before you need maternity clothes too. I am also counting on Murphy's law. If I have new summer clothes I will get pregnant and won't need them. I am trying everything. If that doesn't work at least I have some new clothes. there is nothing worse than clothes that you don't feel comfortable in! Good luck at finding a new house!

Stretched - I am really trying to get a handle on the emotional eating. Soooo hard. I have new clothes to fit into. They look ok but will be better when things are a bit smoother underneath. My new jeans are stretchy so they push my belly all up and gives me mega fat rolls. Big incentive to get them smooth! In the meantime I need a corset of nana knickers that come under my boobs!

    Del - another day down

    Hit to everyone else

    Morning all!

Luey - I think getting a couple of new outfits is a great idea, and I second the great finds to be had at Target/Kmart/Big W! I am still looking for a job so can't splurge on new things for myself, but hopefully soon.

Stretched - I hope you're doing well - good luck with the house-hunting! I loathe moving

Rae - FX for this month. I'm glad you and your OH are back on the same page - good luck with finding a place to live ... again, I despise moving! Haha

Hope everybody else is doing well?

AFM - I O'd on CD13, as usual, but now my post-O temps are lower than usual. It's so frustrating. I made an appointment with my GP, finally, to test my thyroid and progesterone ... is there anything else anybody can suggest? I hope my chart works below. I have no idea what's going on with me the last two months!

I'm still trying to be positive - especially since I started a new exercise/eating plan (nothing major, just cut back on carbs, no sugar, and actually doing some exercise! haha) and I lost 1.4Ks last week!! At least there's something to be happy about.

    Hi ladies,
So sorry for the lack of personal's but i need some quick advice or else i might need to check myself in the the psych hospital!!

So i had the ovary drilling over 4 weeks ago and had to do a BT to see if I had O. BT showed no ovulation. Saw spec on friday and he said ok it's only first month since drilling lets give it another 2 mths. Me being inpatient said ok but i want some follicle tracking next month so lets just do a scan now to see where i am. Being day 28 he (and me) were surprised to see i had follicles on both sides and looking like i was due to O in a few days. So rescan today to see if they are big enough to trigger inject (one is closer) and the radiographer found 'something' that COULD be early pregnancy (ie. 4 weeks). He said not to get my hopes up as could be something else (i can't remember what he said as was tearing up by that stage).

So now ladies, please please please keep me sane! I don't want to get hurt but i also want to think that maybe this is our miracle after 4 years and one loss at 11 weeks.

Sorry for the long me post but i don't have anyone else who just 'gets' it like u lovely ladies do. Thinking of you all and sending loads of . xx

    Hi Spud,

Wow - what a time you're having! I don't know what to suggest except a HPT? Maybe what they thought were follicles was a corpus luteum? I have no idea what scans show or how different the two look so I can't help but I wish I could! 4 weeks would be super-early but should still show on a HPT if a radiographer could see something, surely.

Let us know how it goes - I'll be thinking of you with everything crossed!!!

Hi Spud - what a head-spinning scan for you! I second ang's advice, have you done a HPT? If they can see anything then you should in theory have enough HCG to show on a test. When do they want to scan again?

Angelini - sorry no advice on the chart, I'm not a 'routine' person, so taking temps never worked for me. Well done on the 1.4kgs - I need to get up and moving too as we went to the beach yesterday and I could barely squeeze my boardies over my a*se!

Raelene - good luck with the house hunt and staying on top of everything! Hope you do get UTD despite it all (plus to prove all the "just relax and it will happen" people wrong!!!)

Looks like lots of us here just waiting at the moment. I went to see the doc as DD has another ear infection, and decided to ask for another tyroid test. I had one a while back which came back ok but I pushed to get the exact figure since aparently under 2 is better to reduce MC risk. Last one was 1.75 but she was happy to test again due to the weight gain, tiredness and feeling cold all the time. She also ordered iron, B12, random guclose and something else as well I think. She's a new doc at my clinic and I was very happy as I didn't feel brushed off at all. Going to do some more research before my follow up to check if I should push to get tested for thyroid antibodies even if my levels are ok (as that could indicate an immune disorder), hashimotos is in my family so I'm very wary.

    Hi ladies,
As stupid as i am i didn't even think to test!! Anyway, just did one now and BFN. So should'nt have got my hopes up, feel worse than before. Think i would rather have not known at all! Anyway, waiting to hear back from my specialist to see what he wants to do.
THanks again ladies, love you all so much.

    Hello all

Spud - So sorry to hear you got a BFN. The ups and downs of this process are just horrendous.

Stretched - Good that you're getting everything investigated. Glad your new GP seems proactive.

Angelini - I'm sorry, I really have no idea what to suggest re the ovulation chart. I don't ovulate at all, so I'm not sure what's supposed to be going on there! Hope someone else has more of a clue.

Luey - Sorry to hear about the BFN. I totally agree about the shopping part too. I keep putting so many things on hold 'in case' I get pregnant. So annoying now that it's been 19mths of that!

Raelene - Sounds like things have been very hectic for you! Good luck with the house hunt!

AFM - I'm now 2dp5dt. For those not in the IVF know, that means 2 days post an embryo transfer, where the embryo was a 5 day old blastocyst. So, my pregnancy test is on Friday next week.

So many emotions. Mostly I'm just crying and angry, as I'm already convinced it won't work. Not the most helpful of emotions, I know!

spud - wow what a rollercoaster. Fingers crossed for you. Hang in there xxx

angelini - WEll done on the 1.4 loss!

Stretched - Glad your new dr seems good

Girl X - Huge hugs honey. Good luck for next Friday. It must seem forever away. It is hard, I wrote a similar post last week how I didn't want to get my hopes up but felt I was being realistic/ negative. You have to protect yourself somehow. I don't have any answers just hang in there. I have everything crossed for you though

Me - still waiting for AF. I think I have gone to my 31 day cycle. I did a FR yesterday which was BFN but today my boobs are sore again???? Probably just the weight loss. I hit x7.8 today! Healthy BMI. I will try and hang out until Wednesday before I test again but I am just being taunted!
