    3k personal loan
    3k centrelink debt
    1.5k credit card

I was going to have it paid off this year, but I just booked a family holiday.
It will be paid off next year. I'll pay it off with my tax.

Default Re: how much debt are you in ?

A few months ago it was $250,000 (mortgage, car loan and -gulp- three credit cards totalling $12,000). Since I sold the house it has gone down to $9,000 and I plan to have that paid off within 12 months.

We did consolidate some last year but chose to keep some things, like the car separate.... Because we don't want to be paying off a car for he next 20 plus years!

We did that! Reduced it right down to $1000 but then increased the limit
    Again little by little. Silly.

    Mortgage
    Car loan
    Credit card

Don't want to put total amount up but I'm not worried by it at all - car and credit card are relatively small loans and I consider mortgage 'good debt'

We make payments easily and live comfortably - I think you only need to worry about debt if it is negatively effecting your life!

Debt is not a bad thing and neither are credit cards it's more about how your able to manage debt!
