Default Polycystic Ovaries and Ovarian Drilling?

    Hi guys,
This is my first time positing in this thread as just been given diagnosis of polycystic ovaries (not enough symptoms for whole diagnosis) and just had ovarian drilling. We have been TTC since 2008, cholmid, letrozole, and four rounds of IVF and one missed miscariage from OI at 11weeks. Our new (2nd) FS did the diagnosis and drilling and just keen to hear if anyone else has had it and success they had (and what I should be doing now). Also on metformin for last 2.5mths.
    Thanks guys,
    xx

Hi Spud, I had it and ovulated a very short time after the op (2 weeks maybe?). I ended up needing IVF but not due to not ovulating (I also had endo and my ovaries were so swollen they were low and touching, so egg was being released but probably wasn't making it to the tubes!). I hadn't ovulated for years before the drilling. Good luck

    Hi Ellymoe,
Thanks for the reply. Glad the drilling at least got you ovulating naturally. Sorry you still had to do IVF but glad it got you your little girl. Hoping this is the mircale we have been waiting for. xx
