Default 6 month old FF routine concerns

I'm concerned with how much my 6 month old DS is drinking. He has started solids and I know that 'food is fun till they're one' but I can't force him to drink more. For the last 4 days his routine has been as follows:

    7am wake and 200ml bottle
    8am 4 tablespoons solids
    9am sleep
    11-11:30am wake and 200ml bottle
    1:30pm sleep
    3:30-4pm wake and 200ml bottle
    5pm 4 tablespoons solids
    6:30pm bed

My concern is that he won't have his bottle before bed. He is only having 600mls whereas he 'should' be having around 1000mls. Note I'm not trying to drop his bottle but I can't force him to drink it.

Do I a) introduce lunch, offer water when he wakes up in the afternoon and push formula till before bed time? b) introduce lunch, give a smaller bottle when he wakes up in the afternoon and offer the 200ml bottle before bed? c) leave it as it is? d) something else?

    Suggestions? Thoughts? TIA!

Your not on own that's for sure. I was having a similar issue with my DD who is 6 months, this is our routine:
    7 or 7:30 Bottle 250ml
    8:30 or 9 breakfast
    10 Sleep
12 wake & lunch ( this is sometimes earlier as she may wake before this)
    1pm bottle 250ml
    2pm Sleep
    4pm wake offer water
    5pm Dinner
    6:30 bottle 250ml
    7pm Bed

I think though it's just about finding a happy medium with what works for you and your bub, I don't really think there's a right or wrong answer just whatever makes them happy.

    All the best

My dd dropped a bottle about 4months but picked one up again a few months later. Try not to worry, as long as he's happy

Don't stress too much about it. My DD changed her drinking patterns a few times after starting solids... I'd just offer the bottle, if bub doesn't want it, it's fine.. They know what they need

As long as he is putting on enough weight and has wet nappies then he should be fine.
The guideline on the formula tins are only a recommendation..
My daughter is nearly 6 months and only has 4x100ml bottles a day sometimes she will do a 5th bottle but we feed her solids 3 times a day where she'll eat equivalent to 3/4 of a rafferty's pouch.

I wouldn't worry, according to my formula, he's only drinking 120mLs less than recommended... my DD is six months too and drinks far less than this yet is happy and healthy and a good weight.
