MGC -Im sorry it didn't work for you this round. I really was hoping that the penny was going to drop for you and it was your turn. Glad you have some frosties on board but I know thats even hard as its just more waiting time which if your anything like me really messes with my head...

Zakmick - How are you hun… Have you taken it all in yet.. Has the FS given you any instructions to take it easy or just go on like normal? Have you told anyone yet or just keep your beautiful secret with you and hubby for now?

AFM - Well the nurse called me yesterday and said that the FS thinks I should still go ahead with it but in the end its my choice… but to throw another road block in my way my progesterone levels have gone through the roof at 6.6 on day 11 of stimms so what ever eggs we do get will need to have a freeze all! Which bloody freaks me out as I never have any embryos good enough to freeze and I feel like Im risking it all for 2 bloody follices. Needless to say I did not sleep well last night. Currrently my E2 levels are sitting at 3200. But Im shocked by my progesterone levels. With all 10 cycles I have never had this issue. My breasts are sooooo sore which before they told me about this I knew something wasn't right…I trigger tonight for EPU on monday at 1210.. This is my first time with private hospital and obviously the cost of it all is messing with my head even though DH tells me its not important but when its costing $11k per cycle you think about…..

You only need one - well, some women have got their BFP with just one (unfortunately that never happened for me).

AFM.... unfortunately I got a BFN on a HPT this morning. Not entirely surprised, but had soooooo hoped that having my sister's donor eggs was going to be the breakthrough we needed. But it doesn't look like it's meant to be. ery sad, as just don't think it will happen for us, since donor eggs didn't work. Will POAS the next two days and then official BT is Monday. We still have three of my sister's frosties, so will be looking at everything regarding implantation etc before doing an FET (even though I'm already doing Dr M's immune protocol with Intrallipids, aspirin, prednisolone and clexane).
I'm really sorry, it must be heart breaking for you and DH both. Make sure you do have a good chat with FS before going back to see if there is anything more that can be done. xo

Thanks all for thinking of me. Todays HPT at 10dp5dt was also BFN. I don't really know much about FETs as I've never had any frosties before (a seasoned IVF stimmer though!!). Plan to do it as soon as possible though, after asking a zillion questions, and seeing if there's any other tests etc that can be done or anything else changed. Bubs4Kylee.... well, let's hope then you do get a couple of nice embies on Monday. Good luck xx

FET's are definitely easier than Stim's and some ladies even respond better in these cycles than in Stim cycles. At my clinic the success rates are just as good because they only select and freeze the very best embryos.
Hopefully you might be one of those ladies who just responds better with a FET.

bubs4kylee good luck for EPU, I Hope you get some good eggs. I wasn't able to offer you advice on cancelling as I usually just go with my FS but sometimes I have found in IVF land that we need to make some decisions of our own which is always hard because it is impossible to know the right thing to do.

AFM - Day 2 of my second stim with Genea but my 5th Cycle altogether. FS said all good to start my meds last night, dosage has been upped and my first follicle scan is Wednesday. At this stage they think I should be in Sydney for EPU around the 6th June. But FS also said he will cancel if he is unhappy with my numbers so I guess time will tell.

Sharlee... thanks for that, though this time it was really like an FET for me, as my sister donated her eggs and did all the stimming, and I really didn't do much at all!! It was an expanded blast so you cant' get better than that, but we still have three frosties to try another expanded blast, and two morulas)

@bubs4kylee I too had a cycle with high progesterone and had to do a freeze all so frustrating but then other cycles were fine hopefully it's just the one cycle - otherwise hope you are going well - any update?
@McGBertie sorry to hear that - glad you have more in the freezer it's certainly feels odd doing an FET after lots if stims...
@Sharlee32 hope all is going well good luck for Wednesday

Hi ladies. Best news ever. From being told I had 2 follicles they collected 8 mature eggs. Clinic just called and told me this and said the sperm looks good as well. All swimming. So I guess we will see how they go over nite. Just so happy with this amount. Very happy
