Sorry Haydos is I meant ( no digital high mag) we are def on for picsi & anything else I can squeeze out of them. The decision on how many to use with hubby and donor will be decided after pick up, Wazza & scientist were suggesting straight Ivf / no intervention / icsi if her egg quality "looked" good but going off past failed fert cycles with my eggs where there looked good ( also been told by other fs / clinic you cannot judge them on appearance so not sure where that is coming from) but we are not willing to risk it. Hope it's the right choice, but we've come too far to chance it! Thank you for keeping a eye on us x

That's ok, I know what we went through and would never wish that on anyone so really keen to see if this works as you have a similar issue to us.

Yes we had the high res mag where they pick on sight and we were told they struggled to even find enough good looking sperm to inject.
Yes, if you can't see DNA frag, how would normal ICSI work as well? I wish PICSI was available to us as an option sooner!

Sorry, just re-read and realised you meant select eggs on sight not sperm..

Hi Haydos & Starfish quick update, sisters pick up went really well yesterday, 20 eggs, 15 mature all with picsi and we split 10 to hubbies sperm, 6 of which have fertilized and 5 with donor sperm, 4 of which also had fert. Looks like it was def an egg issue, day 4 results will show the best feedback but just quietly, jumping with joy- after a total melt down- keeping everything crossed!

Ended up going with Wazzas strong suggestion to do a double ( one blast cc & one at blast cd) there are still 2 slow compacting morolas that they will grow out to day 6 and see if they progress.. Slow pokes xx none of the donor sperm survived... Strange cycle this one. Keep you posted.
