    Hi, ladies,

i am new here and am still trying to navigate the forum. I haven't read all 85 pages of post on this thread. It will take some time......However, if you ladies could help answering my questions directly, I am much appreciated.

DH first SA came back azoo. Shocking. The GP will probably refer us to see a specialist next. It is a good idea to have a name in mind before taking the referral. Do you know any good urologist in Perth? or FS good at dealing with MFI. The other azoo forum with ladies in the East coast have mentioned about micro-TESE. There are only 2 urologists in the east coast performing such procedure. I would be interested in knowing if you know anybody here in Perth can perform the same procedure.

Hey bbhope. I am currently at Pivet and the doctors there have a very wide range of specialties including MFI. It might pay to give them a call and see if they can help you. Good luck!!

bbhope - my hubby saw Dr Anne Jequier for his biopsy and he was happy with her. She is quite old but she knows what she is doing! During his biopsy she was able to extract and freeze ready for our IVF/ICSI cycle. Hubby was happy that he only needed to have one op!

As for micro-TESE - I guess this is kind of similar to what hubby actually had, not sure about it being a mirco incision though.

Does anyone know any pharmacies south of the river (I'm in Aubin Grove / Atwell area). That stock puregon?

We've decided to start our cycle this month, and its too late for my local pharmacy to order in.

Our Fert clinic is in Joondalup (we used to live north of the river), and my only other alternative is driving 1hour to Joondalup to collect it.

    Any suggestions?

    hello rinche,

just try phoning around the bigger name/franchise pharmacies.
maybe even the ones at garden city. You may have some luck.
alternatively- Hollywood pharmacy on Hampden rd Nedlands (NOT at hollywood hospital). does stock it for sure. It's a bit closer than joondalup!

    good luck

You have to get your own puregon? My clinic stocked that so I just picked it up from there. Sorry I can't help.

Thanks for your replies ladies. I ended up calling my local pharmacy again, and they said they could get it in for me for tomorrow (I thought last time I asked that they said 2 weeks)! Yippee. Caketin, I was surprised too (I don't remember getting my own on my last cycle, but that was 2.5years ago). I am doing a FET cycle, and the drugs are not included in this.

AF arrived today, so I'm going in tomorrow for bloods. I hope this goes smoothly too, as Im not going into the Fert clinic - im going to Western Diagnostics.

    Hi Rinche
I assume you are with Fertility WA/ North? Why dont you transfer to FertilitybSpecialists South instead? They are in Applecross and much easier to reach esp when you have to go during peak traffic. It is the same group so you wont have to change much. Also, at FSS they supplied all my drugs for all cycles- egg collection as well as FET cycles, extremely convenient!
