Hi Aneczka, quite relieved as she has arrived (2days late but at least she is here)! I phoned the clinic and I go in tomorrow to collect all the medications and have my first B/T for this cycle, so here we go I am officially on the bandwagon 😄😄😄!

Have they phoned you back with your results from your blood test yet? How long have you been injecting for?

I am at Pivet in Leederville, we are not doing ICSI because there are no issues with DH the Dr told us that she is extremely happy with all of his results (that's one good thing in this whole process)

I am trying to work out around what cycle day people generally go in for their EPU, I understand that it all depends on my body but does anyone have a rough estimate?

My DH is away at work for this whole first cycle so I will probably be visiting you all here quite frequently!

Enjoy the rest of your Easter Monday!

Hi ladies - looks like a few of you now starting or in early part of cycles!
Looks like everyone's AF was late like mine - 10 days of extra waiting - was very frustrating to say the least!

im only doing mild stims for FET CYCLE only. 25iu puregon, then pregnyl for trigger and 3x support inj after.

Catttc - good luck on your first cycle- for my full IVF cycle I was on 150iu of puregon- headaches, bit of tiredness and constant nausea were my main symptoms . No nausea when on it for my Ovulation induction cycles at only 75iu.
However my e2 levels were over 25000/30000 at egg retrieval so this was probably cause of nausea rather than puregon .

Aneczka - I would say your numbers look good. Mine were excessively high so can't compare, but my nurses said a great result would be to stim to get average of 10-12 eggs, 7 to fertilise, and then at least a few to freeze. So looks like you are heading in good direction. Just make sure the monitor you closely so avoid OHSS.

Just drink lots of water, increase protein and even drink Gatorade closer to egg collection to recover quicker.

good luck also to brookeb, and everyone else.

Afm - blood test tomorrow and puregon starting tomorrow too if all is ok.

    Hi Aliboo,

I am on puregon too, it made my very tired and sleepy too. The second needle is worse though... Yuuk!
Estrogen level went from 1400 to 2000 in one day, not as high as yours though;-)
Another blood and scan tomorrow to see how the follicles are going...
What clinic are you in, if I may ask?;-)

Hi All u lovely ladies :-)

catttc - first cycle yes, and of course for the first time ever I'm late haha. But not a good late as unless its immaculate conception I can't be preggers lol. Must be all the anxiety but she will come eventually. Still have my day 21 apt tomorrow to hopefully pick up everything.

Aneczka - short cycle or antagonist cycle or something like that haha. Gonal f possibly at 175 will confirm tomoz, and then orgalutron or some such nonsense. Sorry I'm such a newb.

Im being extremely positive because what's the point in being negative. I'm all good and DH all good just nothing wants to work in any realistic timeframe, feels like we have been trying forever. I can't wait forever and being 34 I feel I need to take action now.

How do I add a signature ? And also do the needles hurt as much as I'm imagining. I'm terrified :-(

Hi brookeb, I've got needle phobia, so my husband had to inject me but the needle did not hurt at all. I was on Pregnyl and that does burn while being injected but you get use to it! The needle does not hurt, if scared you can numb the area with an ice pack for 30-60 seconds

    Hi ladies,
Sorry I've been off the radar for a few weeks, have been taking a break after our first failed IVF cycle. I've been seeing a TCM doctor and my head is in the right space now to continue on our TTC journey! We're planning a FET next cycle and I'm really excited to not have to go through egg pickup for it!!!
Is anyone else doing a cycle? I'll have to do some reading to catch up on what is happening with everyone

Aneczka- hope your levels are rising nicely! Im with Hollywood fert clinic.

Brookeb - for adding signature you have to go into your profile to edit settings and signature etc. I can only do this on normal computer, not ipad etc.pneedlesmare not bad. Easier if someone does it for you to start with but after a while I found it quicker and easier to do myself. Puregon/gonal pens are easiest. some of extra meds needles not as nice, but quick jab is best! Just try not to think too much about it and do quickly.

welcome back 4furbabies. Good luck with upcoming FET cycle.
I'm doing 1st FET CYCLE now. Day 4 now. So just waiting for levels to rise and then more bloods and scan to check endo lining next week.

    hi to everyone else.
