Thanks ladies! I'm doing my 'official' clinic BT tomorrow so last one of my every two day check for now. How often does the clinic let you go for BT after the first 'official' BT they do? until now I've had BTs requested by my GP.

The clinic did BT for me every week once a week until 8 weeks of pregnancy as the HCG levels then stops to double every 2-3 days.

Chachacha - mine was once a week until the first scan at about 6 weeks, then I had another scan at 8 weeks and I think that was it!

Mine did them every 3/4 days until last Friday (I was 6.4 weeks) I was very much over getting them in the end coz they just add unneeded stress.. So I think it was 6 betas in the end. If my scan wasn't tomorrow, I'm sure they would have kept me going.

My goodness kdsd that is a lot of betas!
Thanks heart and caketin for helping with my question too! The clinic nurse told me i'll need to do weekly scans for 3 weeks, then the ultrasound. So my 'official' BT result today at 17dpo (or 12dp5dt) is hCG 633, progesterone 182 and estrogen 1577 which is just a great relief and the clinic thinks the results are lovely. Yay!

Hi girls, I've been having a quick read thru your posts, trying to catch up, but it's been 18 months since DD was born, and there's way too many posts to read, so I'll start off fresh.
DD was born after our 10th cycle. We did ICSI and she was from a frozen embryo. We still have 5 in the freezer at Fert North, and I made a call today to see when we can book in to see Margo for a review. A few things have changed for us, including the fact that we now live at the opposite end of Perth, but apparently we might be able to do our appointment via Skype. How cool is that? We have to discuss logistics of living SoR 1 hour away without traffic, or moving to another clinic. Has anyone changed clinics and transferred frozen embryos across to the new clinic within Perth?

    Hi Ladies,

Wow, lots of BFP lately! Great to hear, having been one that took 7 go's to get there it's heartening to hear of others getting their's too I have been reading lots of your posts lately, but just cant seem to find to time to sit down and write one of my own.

We werent going to get back on the merry-go-round until after July, but my Dad rang wanting to help out with money that my Grandma left to him, so yay we get to start soon! I have made an appointment to see my FS (Turner at Hollywood) on the 8 th May (earliest I could get in...hoping for a cancellation).....we have 12 day 5 blast frosties so no EPU (yay). Not sure what protocol I should request....successful one was with Colorado Protocol. Any suggestions? Simon is pretty good to just go with what we want to do, so maybe we'll try that again. I did lots of acupunture last time too and want to again, but the logistics of travelling to Perth (I live in Donnybrook 2.5hrs away, and there isnt anyone down here who specialises in fertility acu) to have it done might be a bit limiting...perhaps just for transfer. Anyone using East Meets West?

Rinche - haha funny we decide to come and post on the same day! Might see you and your gorgeous girl for a cuppa later I do know you can transfer clinics with frosties, but it might cost you a bit for the transportation.

Samarasmum - great to hear things you are having a little boy! So glad you finally got your number three

Chachacha - your levels are perfect, and a very strong positive HCG. Third time lucky huh!?

Looking forward to get to know you all a little better over the coming months, probably wont be able to post too often, but will be following your journeys and provide advice when I can.

    Sarah

Sarahnchaz - what a coincidence! And we got our review appointment for 8th May also! That's changed now. I got the call today saying we can do an appointment via Skype next week! Holy cow! I better start saving up more $. I did not think it would happen so quickly, but I'm running with it!
