Thanks for the well wishes
So we left Thursday morning at 8:30am got to airport checked in and find we have a 5 hour delay before we leave, so instead of our 3:30pm arrival we get to hotel at 9:30pm or so.
Friday we had a great day slowly made our way to concept fertility in Subiaco, so we went in and Dr Ambekar was SOOO lovely, she clearly explained everything involved to DH and I (was really happy that she included DH in the conversation equally), gave us the real facts of what we are up against, and we left with loose weight I need to be under 35 BMI before they will start BUT given how impressed and supportive she was of the fact of me having lost 4kg already and I don't want to do first cycle til Feb Dr Ambekar thinks it won't be hard to loose now I finally have the right dose of metformin working for me.
DH is really happy about her and waiting til Feb (when I wanted to start) because it means I can loost the weight, he can have 2 weeks or so holidays from work and we can all go down as a family to do it, the FS I spoke to in Darwin over the phone when we first moved back here in July is happy to treat me after loosing 10kg which I am nearly half way to achieving but DH and I think Dr Ambekars manner and abilities are worth the extra work to see her instead regardless of the financial part (paying upfront or afterwards) I was happy with her honesty and supportive manner.
DH left already planning and finding hotels for our next trip down and feeling positive about it all, we need to get him back on suppliments ASAP the better his numbers and results will determine if ICSI or IVF is used, IUI is unlikely to be enough given his last SA results.
So all we needed to make our trip perfect was to rewind time and remove the 5 hour delay going down and erase the 10 hour delay in Broome on the way back home .
Congrats LozzyS and great jump in numbers Samarasmum.
HI to everyone else
