Hope your BT's continue to go up and you can relax soon and enjoy your pregnancy.
I wasn't exactly told I was overweight but she kept asking me every time I saw her if I had lost any weight! She explains everything quite simply so both myself and my husband could understand. I haven't had any problems with her.

Just got one of the final invoices. Eeek thank god I can send that one to Medicare and pay the gap!

Thanks so much for your reply, and the weight bit, I am a big girl and not one to sugar coat the facts that I am overweight, just hoping to get a Dr that is realistic at looking at my healthy lifestyle over the number on the scales.

Finally after years of eating right and exercise I found a Dr that listened and although metformin makes me really sick normally he put me on metformin XR (extended release taken at night) which has finally kick started something back into place and I have lost 2.5kg in 5 weeks without changing anything else in my lifestyle and had a 33 day cycle for me that is unheard of, usually all over the shop from 50-90 so to me that proves what my Drs in Victoria have been telling me and that my PCOS was a major factor in my weight (just they didn't try help me do something about it).

    sorry ranted on alot there.

Hi everyone else hope everyone is being kind to themselves

2plus3equals6, I think it depends on the clinic... my BMI was 31 when I started and they where ok with that... I think some clinics have maximum BMI of 35... maybe ring the clinic and ask if they have a maximum and work out what yours is, there are heaps of calculators on the net... that way you will know where you stand before you go to your appointment so you can stop stressing about it.
