Hi everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend!
I went back to work yesterday after a week off for the surgery, wish I had another week off though.. Was so nice to have a break.

Heart 84- I hope next Wednesday goes well, are they doing a laproscopy at the same time? I had both of those procedures done last week. I didn't have much pain afterward but if you can get some time off work take it! I think the hardest part is when you're told that you have to have a break from cycles. It goes against every instinct in your body. Beginning of August we were told we had to have a 3 month break... After 8 months of ivf that news nearly broke me. But we've got about 6 weeks to go until we can try another FET. Everyone says it but time really does go fast and it's actually been nice to have a break! Will be thinking if you x

Lionheart 334 - I do acupuncture SOR but he also has a clinic In Subiaco 1 day a week. His name is Jan and I can't tell you how good he is! You can phone East Fremantle Chinese medicine centre to make a booking with him at subiaco, good luck!
Amy El- I hope your having a nice holiday.

Tj79 - im so sorry to hear about your cycle being cancelled. I hope they had some answers for you... Do you know when you can try again?

Hope everyone else is well and having a good week xxx

    Hi Ladies,

Hope you dont mind i join this forum. I used to be on here a year ago and had a break and now getting ready to start my 2nd full stim cycle through a new clinic. We have decided to go to Hollywood fertility under the care of Dr Turner. Not sure if anyone else is with him or if any one found him good.

My husband and I are both only 22 TTC for almost 3 years. I have endometriosis, thyriod problems and premature ovarian failure. Hubbys swimmers are really great at the moment they have their times.

Our last cycle was a year ago, we had 8 eggs retrieved but only one was available to trasnfer and no others available to freeze. That was unsucessful.
Last month i had my first ever (that i know of) chemical pregnancy

This is the closest i have came in the alost 3 year, really hoping a new FS and a new protocal is what i need. Have been told i do not have many eggs left and the quality is not looking good either. However Dr Turner seemed really convinced he could get us going and felt positive about our chances because of how younge we are.

Wishing everyone lots of baby dust. Looking forward to getting to know you all xox

    Hi Ladies

LozzyS - Getting both procedures done tomorrow and luckily I have off work till Friday and then it is long weekend, so plenty of recovery time, though it is more for emotional recovery. The hardest part is not trying :'( So glad to hear you have only a few more weeks before you can try again as you have been waiting sooooooo long! We last tried in Jun this year so also a long time, did have a miscarriage in between though.

Cath09 - Good luck with the new FS, hopefully Simon can help you guys, even being young and having problems still does not make it any easier, we are both 28 and still it is hard, been trying a few years now, 3 miscarriages in between

Hi to all the other ladies have a lovely long weekend - at least we are heading down to Pemberton for my husbands karate camp

    Hi ladies

this is my first post on here. I'm going through my second cycle of IVF/ICSI now. My first cycle was cancelled early due to low estrogen levels. I was on a long down regulation cycle using synarel and 90 iu Puregon. This time round we have changed to an antagonist cycle using 175 iu puregon and I just did my second orgalutran injection today as my leading follicle had reached 14mm yesterday (and I have 14 others in there). I'll be back at the specialist tomorrow morning for BT and US and they are hoping I should be back on Monday for my EPU.

this is exciting/nervous time as we didn't get this far last time.

Has anyone else on here done a similar cycle to this? What were your results?

    Girls,

Just doing a quick me post, will do personals later on tonight when I get home!

Had my Day 14 bloods and scans yesterday and apparently everything looking good so far with estrogen levels at 500, more bloods tomorrow and wait for further instructions! So fingers crossed FET happens soon.

Got to meet the lovely Adden yesterday, she looks fab and her belly is so cute! Fingers crossed we all get matching bellies soon

Samarasmum- I've done my trigger injection (last night at 8.45pm) and into the clinic tomorrow morning at 7.30am for EPU. Feeling good, hopefully all the tightness yesterday meant I had some great growth and they are maturing well.

I had a funny phone call today from the embryologist asking if we are using DH's frozen sperm or a fresh sample...pretty sure that can't happen since he had a retrieval done a few months ago!

I keep forgetting which thread I am on!

Samarasmum- I'm going ok, back at work today after EPU yesterday (luckily my job isn't too hard at the moment!). Got 5 eggs, 4 fertilised so I'm waiting until I call the FS tomorrow to find out when ET will happen (either Thursday, Friday or Saturday).
