I am very unmotivated to work, just want the next week to fly so i can breathe easier.....

At least the weekend is not far away
I get pain in my tail bone if I sit down for too long. I guess it's the relaxin hormone, glad I'm not the only one then. I also get pain in my back from sleeping and I know it's not the mattress. My sister had the same problem, it went away after pregnancy. She purchased a new mattress for no reason!

    Good Morning Ladies

Haven't been on bub hub properly since mid last week as I was off on a First Aid Refresher Course for work (also was great to get refreshed on what to do in emergency situations for babies and children, so very happy that's done). Lots of catching up to do - this thread is moving quickly too!

Grebbeci - hopefully time is flying so that you'll be able to have your scan before you know it. Had another conversation with DH about the cot (after we went to Baby Bunting and had a look at prices) and now I think he wants my SIL's cot again!! I made him a deal - I said let's go to her house, set it up and do the measurements - if it meets current Australian Standards (which I have a feeling it won't) then we'll take it...

Dragonfly17 - How did you go with pinterest? Did you get your invite yet?

Nicsta83 - Congrats on hitting the 12 week mark - feeling you and other ladies on the back pain. I have my first 'pregnancy' massage booked in on the 5th September and can't wait!

Adden - wow your bump is huge already - gorgeous!

Khutch - I have been looking around for jeans and my girlfriend gave me her old maternity ones - they are 'szabo' and they are PERFECT! Look good and super comfy!

Rafiki - glad to hear all is going well with you

Lillyponds - How did you go with your scan and appointment last week?

Re stretch marks - I've started using bio oil - but who knows if it will prevent them or work at all - time will tell. I've also heard great things about Palmers Cocoa Butter but I don't like the smell!

So went to my SILs on the weekend and had a look at some of her baby stuff she's kept for us. Her pram is awesome and pretty much exactly what I wanted - it's a 'Bacino' and it's in really good condition and has all the accessories etc so very happy with that. She's also got a Safe N' Sound car seat we can use from newborn and also a Peg Perego high chair so a few things there we'll save $$$$ on!! Very happy! Had a quick look at the Baby Bunting sale yesterday (Melbourne) and the sale was pretty bad actually - only really worked out to 5% off. The Boori Sleigh Royale cot (which is on my dream list) was on sale for $899 which is the cheapest I've seen it - but not much else was on sale. The best they could do for the cot, matching change table, dresser, bookcase and mattress was $2209. Now my mission is to beat this deal, lol!!

Meshell - where was it that you got your furniture package again?

Hope you all have a great Monday - sorry for the essay

I've been a abit out of touch over the weekend but Meshell wow what an inconsiderate a**hole! Have you gotten your test results back? I'm hoping they are all clear for you, I just can't believe the lack of consideration from that guy.

Welcome Rafiki, I've seen your name pop up in some other threads before so it was a familiar name to see join!

We had our 12 week scan the other day and all went really, really, well. It was just AMAZING to watch, it finally feels real now I think!

Crafty - well done on the scan so good to hear it went well for you and now you can relax more.

SL - You are so organised!! I still havent even considered anything baby, im just too scared until after this scan, which as you know i cannot wait for, feel like im dying waiting for Thursday - HURRY UP! I am so impatient

Meshell - Great that your all ok, that dude was a LOSER!

Well work is busy so at least thats keeping me sane, but my step son is driving me up the absolute wall....I dont think i have mentioned before that I have a step son, he is 15 and right now its not a fun age for us. I pray he grows out of it, if nothing else it has taught me many tips for the future and how to handle situations...(hopefully).

    I don't blame him Meshell!

Thanks Nicstar, it is such a relief. You will feel the same on Thursday, it's like it is really official then if that makes sense even though we have been pregnant all along!!

Does your stepson live with your full time?
