Oh cool yeah I'm a twin to a boy and back in the day when my mum had us there wasn't ultrasounds and we were back to back so the beat of our hearts were in sync so it wasn't till the day we were born I came first the they said wait there is another and 15mins later my brother came first time my parents knew there was twins lol best of luck to you xo I only have the one
Just returned from the NT scan and it's good news for us too Results were 1:7223 ds, 1:17,934 T18 and 1:56,179 T13. It's such a relief especially with twins. Spent the week with huge migraines and occasional tears, hopefully we can relax a little now.
I just had a scary incident, im in Daydream island with work, and we were all in this conference room getting instructions on what we were to do in an upcoming activity and i suddenly felt hot and started feeling very dizzy, i knew at that point i was going to faint....
Sure enough i woke up (dont know how long i was out) and all my colleagues were around me in a big circle...there was about 100 people or more in the room so it was quite some circle.
Anyway WTF...why did i faint! They took me to a nurse on the island who checked my blood pressure etc and all was ok, and my blood sugar also seemed ok.
I had been on a boat in the sun for 1.5 hours prior so maybe i was a little dehydrated.
A little annoying im not at home as I feel a little bit worried about the bub...i hope everything is ok. I called my OB and he said it can be quite common in pregnancy due to increased blood flow.
Anyway im resting now and am not participating in the activities this afternoon.
Has anyone else heard of or fainted while pregnant?
Absolutely - it's very common. I get dizzy spells often...i had a really bad cramp in my foot a couple of weeks ago in the middle of the night and I stood up to stretch it out and pretty much nearly passed out! It is to do with the increased blood flow - i'm sure bubs is fine : )
