Good luck with your amnio xxx

    Hi Ladies,

I have been off the scene for a bit recently, extremely busy at work but have been reading along when I can.

Congrats to all the ladies who have had scans and found out if bubs is pink or blue! How exciting! Have any of you that found out wished you had waited or it was the best decision to know? I'm still torn!

KM - I'm so sorry to hear this, fingers crossed everything goes ok with the amnio and it's more of a precaution than anything. I had heard the risk of the amnio was 1/100(??) so unless our results were under that from the NT we weren't going to have one but everyone is different and you need to do what is best for you. Where are you getting it done?

Meshell - I agree with the other ladies, it's your shower and your day so you should get to share it where, how and with whoever you want! 30 mins is hardly a far drive these days and I think it's unreasonable of them to expect you to be the one going back and forth! Stick to your guns my dear!

I've had two XXX's sice being pregnant although one was during the TWW! The last one was no more painful than normal but there was a bit of bleeding from the waxing which I'd heard was common due to all the blood being in that area now. The girl who I see regularly said it's best to keep coming in every 4 weeks especially the more further along in the pregnancy which would help with the pain but it's also not advisable to do one before bubs is due as the hair down there helps protect against infection during birth??!!

Otherwise all is well with me, had a very uncomfortable weekend a few weeks ago with cramping and just not feeling right, then bam the night day my belly had popped out! Exciting! Have had the same cramping and ovary pains like a few of you two which is reassuring that at least we are all experiencing similar things!
