    Hi All,

Sorry to hear about all the sickness!

I need to have my turn to whine! My back is killing me, it kept me up most of last night cause it was aching... I love to cook and can spend ages in the kitchen cooking... now even 30 mins of standing and I will be in pain! Gonna be a long 5 months if it keeps up... gonna have to get a stool so that I can still cook!

Lets hope the rest of the week is better than today!!

    Oh Amy, that sux too!
You can use a heat pack for a bit - I heat mine up and leave it about 10 mins at the most. its fine in pregnancy.
also, do you have a maternity pillow?
The Belly bean has been great cause you have one bump on your belly and one bump in the small of your back.
i found its been helpful for my back (I have a bad back anyway)
I stood at an art gallery for 2 hours last thursday night and i was in so much pain too! 30 mins sux though - take care of yourself!
as for me - i had a nap when DS did, but the stupid mail man woke me up by knocking on the door - grrrrrr
still got an hour and a half though!

Adden i wish your sickness would do away!

Grampa also your MS sounds just awful, its unfair that you have to go through it. I hope you get a lot of support from family & friends.

Only on here quickly as I have to get out of work.

Today I have been thinking about the future....how am i going to make this work etc, work wants to know how long i want off...when am i coming back...when will be my last day!

I do love my job, and I hope I will be able to continue it after I come back....but it cant be done part time....so i would need to come back full time, however it is somewhat flexible on how i spend my time...anyway interesting times ahead im sure.

Well I'm sitting up with a surgery cup of tea.
have had awful evening and still shaking .......

Went to loo, wiped myself and noticed blood. Panicked. Rang OB who told me to go straight to hospital. My DH was on call at hospital so wasn't around, and I had to ring neighbors to come and get DD, and then drive me to hospital.

oB saw me straight away . Did ultrasound. heart beat strong.vbaby not moving as asleep but we woke it up just to be sure. Noticed small tear in placenta which caused bleed.

Told to rest up ++++. Have to wait out next 24 hours. If no further bleeding then all should be ok.

An anxious 24 hours for me.... So scared. Thought risk of miscarriage low at x16+5.weeks. Just goes to show nothing is guaranteed.

I asked if it was all the vomiting that's made it come away. He said no! Just small bleed, and not to worry too much-,easier said than done.

On a positive note- only vomited once today! Things must be on the up....

Gampa that must have been so scary. Try and take it easy.

Adden and gampa hope the ms hours away soon. I only have it one or two days a week and that's bad enough.

Beta, how did you go with your scan?

    Ok had the scan!
I have been in shock all day.. I had a total wig out last night, my anxiety manifested itself into major anger at nothing in particular but I banged and crashed things, then cried my eyes out so so worried today would bring bad news..

We went at 9.30 this am, I gave the sonographer a card and an envelope to write down the gender for us... I lay as quite as a mouse holding my breath as he said Normal normal normal!
We went to the park near by and sat down and opened the card. It said " it's a beautiful boy!" tears.. Realized I forgot my phone, had to drive home and get it to call family.
So now it feels really real. My DH is in shock, was so sure we were having a girl. So I finally feel I can shop!
    Jeez hurry up everyone's scans.
Gampa - so glad it's a tear, what an absolute nightmare.
I just want this baby safely born as we all do, hurry up 2013!
    Good luck everyone xxx
