Hi girls. Coming in to vent. 6 weeks in to dieting and two straight weeks on shakes and working my *** off. I got on the scales this morning and I've lost a kilo!!! That's it!!!im still 2.5 kilos off where I have to be to start my cycle. And AF arrived today - so I should be starting the pill.. But now I'm gonna have to wait another month!! I feel like giving up completely.. What's the point.. I've put in all this effort for no result. I feel like I'm never going to get this next cycle. Sorry for the me post - but just so frustrated.
Oh Jem that's so disappointing Could the small weightloss be due to AF coming? I know in the day or 2 before AF I bloat up and gain 1-2kg. It usually settles and drops again a couple of days into AF.
Do you know approximately how many calories you have been eating per day? How much exercise have you done? Sometimes if you're eating too little (i.e. below 1200cals) and exercising a lot (i.e. more than an hour 5 days per week), your body can go into starvation mode from not getting enough food and it can actually hold onto the fat. It's happened to me before and it wasn't until I ate an extra 100 cals more that I started losing weight again.
Bodies are so weird When do you have to let your FS/nurses know that you're starting? Will they actually weigh you?
Since you may be starting on the sugar pills initially (1 cycle I did, 1 cycle I didn't), can you wait and see if the ''bloat'' from AF drops off in a couple of days and weigh again?
