Jems – I’m so damn happy for you, 6 frosties awaiting for you, hoping for a happy new year

Andrea – congratulations to you, what a great surprise after 2.5 years, those 2 lines are such a blessing. Wishing you a wonderful pregnancy, it’s so exciting. Have fun on your first ultrasound in a few weeks In regards to your question about immune problems, I’m still learning myself, but basically in our immune system we all have natural killer cells which help fight off infection and ‘foreign’ bodies such as cancer. Women who have a high amount of these killer cells find it hard to fall pregnant as the body detects the embryo as a foreign body and kills it. There are many other reasons how the immune system can affect fertility/implantation, which I’ve learned from a book called Is Your Body Baby-Friendly. Immune issues can be treated, which is a good thing. Here’s hoping that once I start my treatment my body will be more friendly to future embryo’s!

AFM - Just got my hands on a copy of Bared To You, can’t wait to start reading it!

AOB - You crack me up with your love for Fifty shades of Gray Trilogy, I have also read them all and started reading a few others that are a little more erotic and lost the romance but if your game try Captive in the Dark it is a little Stockholms Syndrome but I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the second installment.

AFM - I went to see my doctor on Thursday, I didn't trust my Central Coast doctors (I feel like I'm back in the 80' and they have no idea about IVF) so I went down to Summer Hill, before she even read my discharge letter and I told her of my symptoms she automatically thinks I had OHSS and was really disapointed at Gosford Hospital's way of treating me and then when she read the discharge letter they didn't even give a diagnosis, so basically I spent 4 days in Hospital and no one knew what was wrong with me. (When we get pregnant definitaly going private, public hospitals just have no idea) So now I have a couple more US one to give me the all clear to go back to work and the second to sort out why I'm retaining urine in my bladder.
To top it all off I got AF yesterday which as I'm a 28 day cycle means my FET won't be happening till Feb now I miss out but about 4 days for a Jan transfer a few extra months to give my body a break.
    Happy weekend to all.

Hi Ladies....guess who's back - took me bloody forever to catch up :-)

Well I spent the last few months trying to loose the IVF weight planning our wedding, getting married and enjoying our honeymoon!

Start pill popping on the 19th Dec for an early Feb transfer, changed specialist from Dr Fong to Dr Smith and found him to be wonderful1 he could give us no reason why we are still BFN but tells us 'don't give up!'

After reading Kylee's post re. Dr Fong I am appalled!

Congrats on your team pink Mrs Jag!

AOB my gosh 50 Shades certainly does help you pass the time...does your husband also enjoy your new novels

Jems well done on your embies! enjoy Christmas & New Year ready and rearing to go in 2013!

To all the other ladies at all the stages Hello!! and I hope all is well - who's in the 2ww?????

    xx

Congrats jeanie on your wedding - hope you had a wonderful day!!!
Where did you honeymoon? I'm also getting a little concerned about dr Fong - she doesn't seem very organised anymore, however no complaints about WFC! And I'm going to see a reproductive immunologist soon as well, so given ill have and ivf doc, a scientist and a RI on board- I guess I'm not going to change anything at this point in time - glad You like Dr smith as well

Eaglegirl – been thinking of you, I hope you’re feeling better. Sorry to hear about Gosford Hospital, how ridiculous, who’s running that place??!! Have you had any further USs yet? Can you go back to work yet? Sorry about AF turning up, but I agree with you that a few months to give your body a break can’t be a bad thing. But bring on Feb that’s for sure. Thanks for recommending Captive in the Dark, I’ll add that to my reading list.

Jeannie – oh wow, I did a double take of your new avatar. I know it’s a small photo but how gorgeous are you hun! Congratulations on your wedding day and may your honeymoon last a lifetime. DH and I have been married 12 years and thanks to Mr Grey and Ms Steele I feel like I’m on my 2nd honeymoon LOL!! So, yes, my DH is also enjoying my new novels. I’m so excited you’re going to start pill popping soon. I hope you get a lovely delayed wedding present in Feb.

    Crofty
    – I just finished Bared to You about half an hour ago and I also couldn’t put it down. I’ll try and get Reflected in You this week too. Can’t wait for you to see Dr M soon.

    Hello my other WFC buddies

Well, still addicted to Fifty Shades, I even ordered a Matt Bomer calendar from ebay!! Very unlike me.

AOB- ah ha....you are as hooked as me. Bared to you & Reflected in you are so addictive. You will love it. Gabriel's Inferno & Gabriel's Rapture are awesome too. They are all at Big W for $10 each. They have been keeping me going too.

Hey beautiful ladies....hope you are all well. Just hanging back & reading about your journies. Much love & baby dust to you all. Xx

Thanks crofty - it was PERFECT!! We went to Koh Samui (Thailand) for 7 nights then off to Bangkok to for 4 nights...loved it!

We had 2 IVF's & a FET with Dr Fong and i guess we were ready for a change particularly after a terrible result last cycle AND Dr Fong doing our transfer.
The nurses etc are BRILLIANT...love them!!
The break did us good....exactly what we needed.

Wow you will have your own entourage so where are you up to in your cycle ??

Sharlein – you are gorgeous too!! I don’t think I want to show my face on here with all you lovely ladies . I can’t wait to start reading Gabriel’s Inferno/Rapture. I just want to get my hands on Reflected in You first and someone else recommended the Bride Stripped Bare too.

Jeannie – I told you Matt Bomer is a hottie, I have to watch this clip every day just to get my fix https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSB3gwLPP-c

He's on a TV show called White Collar, Thursdays on Channel 10 at 9.30pm, I can't wait.

Yes, I did see a naturopath a few months ago. She was lovely but we decided we’ll see how our new specialist (reproductive immunologist) goes and see if he can help me first, as some of my BTs have tested positive for immune issues. I have surgery with him in a few weeks and then hopefully start cycling in Feb.
