Amazing enough the clinic was really quiet when I got there How did you go Crofty? Had a really good chat with Cecila feeling alot more confident. AOB I heard about Cecila through Dr Smith he raves about her as she teaches all the up and coming IVF Scientists at Uni and she is supposedly number 1 in her role in Australia. DP and I just made the decision to talk to her as we were heading into Cycle 6 and I was having regular melt downs we have now worked out if you don't make a stand you are just a number.
AOB you seem to be about the same as us with amount of cycles she tells it as it is but she at least has now taken a personal interest in our case as I have to email her every step of the way, When I start stim, when I trigger etc.

Bubs4Kylee how are you going? I wrote a while back I noticed you dropped off FB I hope you are hanging in there.

Eaglegirl – I’m so glad you had a good chat with Cecilia, did you have to make an appointment with her? If so, do you just call reception?

Yes, we are similar in cycles, hopefully no. 6 is it. I feel like I’m having regular meltdowns too, but I try and hide it from DH, I feel so ashamed. Yes, I also feel like a number and no-one cares to help us, hence why I’m on my 3rd FS, the other 2 just said keep on trying without any change or investigation.

I’m so thrilled that Cecilia has taken an interest in you guys, so great she wants to be emailed every step of the way. Best wishes to you!

Yes you do need to make an appointment to see her, I called the main number and requested that I see her, gave them a quick short history and booked it at the same time I came in to collect my meds, I didn't hear back so I called again and got an answer. But as you are like us I'm sure she will take an interest, I'm sure she has the nurses screening the calls as well so not every tom **** or Jane book with her.
I knew there were issues when I had a meltdown at work over the stupidist of things, On the way home on the train wanting to hurt someone. I to didn't want to say anything to DP as he would say I'm being silly, but I broke down talking to my mum and DP called me straight after and heard it in my voice and it was his suggestion to talk to Cecila as we are both in Healthy weight ranges, we exercise, eat well, don't smoke, don't drink soft drinks, DP even gave up Alcohol since January and me only once a week, so we wanted to know what else could we do??
    Who is your FS?

Thanks Eaglegirl, good to know that Cecilia is available if/when I decide I need to have a good chat about things. My new FS is Dr Cerez-Magnaye, I've only seen her a couple times and she is happy for me to see the other FS regarding possible immune issues so at least she is cooperative. Your DP sounds like a great guy, so nice that he can sense how you're feeling just by your voice and wanted to seek advice from Cecilia. You guys are doing all the right things, just not fair it hasn't happened yet, but I hope things will turn around for you both

    hey everyone,

who is cecilia everyone? Is she one of the scientists/embryologists?

crofty - congrats on being PUPO! How exciting! Now just for the dredded 2ww. Hope it goes super fast for you.

kylee - just a question? what does "terminated by dr fong at WFC" in your signature mean? That you stopped seeing her?

eaglegirl - so are you doing anything different next cycle based on your discssion the cecilia

afm - I am on Day 8 of my FET cycle so waiting to O. I go down on Monday morning for a blood test (CD12) and then if last cycle is anything to go by i should O around CD16 which will be friday. I am taking femara to make me O for this FET cycle so I will be oing a natural egg as well as the transfer embryo and our wedding anniversary is the day before O so we have decided not to abstain just for that night and what will be will be. The likelyhood is so slim that we decided not to worry too much about it as with all the disruptions to our intimacy over the past 2.5 years its no fair to abstain on our wedding anniversary for the slim slim chance it would actually result in twins.

Funny when I booked in my FET online I wrote CD1 = 25th October and then when the nurse called me she said "we got this funny message from you online CD1 what does that mean????" I was so shocked they didnt understand our online fertility shorthand. It was pretty funny how she suprised she was when i explained it to her haha

Hey Andrea - Cecilia is the science director at WFC and you may speak to her through your FET about your embryos - how many frosties do you have waiting? And what day were they frozen?
