It is a shock when you find out things like this. It becomes more serious somehow and the thought of extra procedures is worrying, so I know how you feel. My DH did the sperm test yesterday (I went in to help him, and to make sure he didn't spill! lol) and I was shocked to hear he had below average mobility. Luckily his count is very high though so apparently it makes up for it so we're not to worry.
I think you will feel better when you speak to your FS in depth about options/costs/how it all happens and have time to digest it. Have you got an appointment to chat it through?

I don't recall her saying anything about the quality just that it was low count. He has to do it again so I guess I'll see what happens then. Still just in shock a bit. Not really sure how to deal with it!!

So what can taking EPO do to your cycle/body when you are trying to conceive?

I hve a question though, I had a positive opk on fri/sat so I would assume I ovulated on sat/sun, according to the apps I shouldn't not have ovulated until today 3 days later, does this mean anything? Have I ovulated to early? today is cd15
I changed the days I took clomid this month doing 3-7 rather than 5-10, would this have stretched out my cycle and now with the pill change brought it back?
I also haven't felt any O pains or twinges as I have done in the last few months.

Sorry for those getting the bfn, good luck to those testing this week!!!!!
Ignore the App (they are good for charting, not predicting), and go by the OPKs. You should ovulate within 24-36 hours of an initial positive OPK. Most standard Apps just predict ovulation for the third day after your first +ve OPK, which is wrong, and based on a mathematical algorithm, not science.
Hope you had lots of sex!!

IUI is mostly used by same sex couples, couples using donor sperm (where the female has no fertility issues) etc.

But I could be off base!
No, you are essentially right. Sometimes fertility scientists can attempt to obtain a "clarified, more potent" sample, for IUI. Better to try something less invasive first, obviously.
But you are on track, Rainbow.

Do you want the cynical answer of a doctor?...Cost you money, and that's about it for most women. Trust your hormones, and if they let you down, trust your FS.
