Default TTC and not wanting to move #2

J just wondering, I'm only on cycle 2 of trying but should I go and have a BT at my local doc to make sure everything is good to go? He didn't mention having one when I told him I was going off BC a couple months ago and I have always been quite healthy besides asthma, plus am up to date with all my vaccinations.

No point at this stage. Start your charting asap, and this will provide more useful information than sporadic blood tests, in the first instance.

I have been MIA the last week, but still been reading along about how you are all going. Good luck to all those testing soon. Tormy- I really hope it’s good news for you tomorrow!

The reason I have been so quiet is because my blood test results over the past week have been really disappointing. My oestrogen has been low, like 150, and although my LH has been rising each time they said I wasn’t about to ovulate. So I was feeling very down and flat that the clomid hadn’t worked again and thinking about trying injections.

But I went for a blood test today, CD 21, and just got results. My oestrogen has gone up to 564, LH 17 and progesterone <2. I was really shocked. So they want me in for an ultrasound and BT again tomorrow morning. I am happy that it seems things might be happening, but the nurse said it would more likely be building up a natural O rather than caused by clomid as it’s happening so late. I also got my anti-mullerian hormone results back (egg stores) and it was 126 which they said is high so suppose that’s good. Waiting for my FS to phone me and chat it though. The nurse said maybe I had been overstimulated to get this result but how could that be when the clomid hasn’t worked? That blood was taken 2 weeks ago when my oestrogen was still really low.

J- have you got any advice please?

Anyway, feeling a bit more positive now and suppose I’d better keep BD’ing.

    Baby dust to you all!
The "take-home" message from today's blood tests is...you are about to ovulate, but have not yet. So, have sex for the next 3 nights.
Whether or not it is the clomid is probably not really that important right now, for this cycle, is it?
    Your AMH levels are great.
All sounds positive. Have lots of sex!!!!

Just started spotting. I guess the only positive is that my average luteal phase length is now 11 days.
I feel devastated - we really gave it a good go this last month - timed DTD perfectly.
Been 3 months now. I know in the scheme of things its nothing but to me feels like something is wrong. maybe its normal to think like that.

I hope we see some BFP's here soon - we need to boost the morale of our group

Might have a few days off bubhub - see how I go. Good luck to everyone testing in the next few days

Hi ladies. Got dh's semen analysis back tonight and he has low sperm count. I'm a bit frazzled really and not sure what it means exactly. The doc is sending him for another one to double check. She started talking about isci and Ivf and I just freaked out. Can anyone tell me what all this means?
