    Morning all,

Well boy have my last three nights been filled with THE most vivid of dreams. I'm not TWW symptom spotting per se, as I know it is way too early being onlyD 4DPO but more hormone symptom spotting From what I have read raised progesterone levels cause an increase in REM sleep therefore more dreaming and more vivid dreams. Its been crazy, its like I live a separate life every night! Even if it doesn't end up being a successful cycle, I am going to put it down to my prog levels being nice and raised

Rainbow, I am really glad you are seeing a FS about possible IUI. I think the benefits re: success, and reduction of logistical stressors regarding your donor, will outweigh the costs. You have my full support. Keep us posted re: your current charting too, so we can see if a pattern is emerging. (If you want to, of course!).

Will do J. I feel really happy with the decision for the same reasons you said. I just said to DP, I can't wait for my period knowing we may not even be able to do it again. If he were in Sydney, no problem. But I don't want to waste the money flying him down if I can put it towards a better chance.

FS appt with bloods (and choosing donor) on the 18th (CD27)
    AF due on the 19th
    Mandatory counselling on the 20th

It's quite possible we can start that cycle, and I'll have my CD2 bloods on the 20th as well. If not, well then, we start the following month. I suppose I can wait

I'll keep you updated with my chart when the interesting stuff happens. CD5 today, AF is all but gone now.

Rainbow - sounds like you've made a good decision. If I were in your position I would probably have done the same. Good luck with seeing the FS and IUI!

Trying to save for our upcoming IVF cycle and everything keeps going wrong!! I think Im 4dpo today, not holding much hope for this cycle.

Default TTC and not wanting to move #2

Cheffry- congratulations! Hoping the line gets darker everyday!

Rainbow- I too think going through a clinic is a great idea. How do you go about choosing a donor? Do thru have stats about the person? Hope the next month flies by for you!

AFM: 10dpo here. AF either due tomorrow or Tuesday. Hoping to hold out til Wed to test. No symptoms to spot even if I wanted to! This month is hard without DH here. He gets back Thursday but he is going to be so jet lagged!

They give you a list of about 20 donors and you choose a few and get their files I think. Which include medical stats, appearance, interests, occupation etc. usually a photo of them as a baby/toddler and sometimes something they've written themselves (usually "why I wanted to donate"). Also if any pregnancies have results from their sperm. We'll probably opt for one that *has* had a pregnancy before so we know that the swimmers are proven to be good!

At the clinic we're going to, if you conceive with that sperm, the rest is saved for you for subsequent pregnancies

I'm really excited about the picking a donor part!

Sounds great! Sounds like a lovely clinic. I really like the idea that you can use the same sperm for siblings!
