I love my OvuView App. This morning it told me that today was an appropriate day to have sex! How cool is that. Could be rubbish, but I shall do as I am told!

I love it because it is super easy to read. I like how it has different methods for keeping track of your cycle. Next month I will be temping though to improve my chances

One of my colleagues (very intelligent Anaesthetist) told me when she was trying for a boy, she waited for her second day of a positive OPK, the theory being the closer to ovulation, the theoretically faster Y-carrying sperm will reach the ovum first (however you risk missing ovulation with this approach!). The THEORY is that X-sperm are slower but last longer, so the earlier you have sex prior to ovulation, the more likely a girl. Of course this theory cannot be tested or proven. Oh, and my friend had a girl!! 50% it is.
