Default Has anyone or would you move in with family to get ahead?

Just wondering if anyone has moved in with family to pay off debt or to save money???? Did you get ahead? How long we're you there for ? How much did you save? Was it worth it??

I lived with my parents years back for about a year and saved $10k+ for a house deposit. However this was when I was single. Don't think I could do it now and it did drive me mad as I lived in there theatre room so lived out of a suitcase for a year. Was worth it when I was able to buy my first home on my own at 21.

I'm doing it at the moment. Myself and two boys live with my parents. Plan is to pay off all debts and save as much as possible until probably Christmas time.

Yeah it stinks not having my own space and doing what I want but it'll be worth it in the end.

We have previously lived with DFs dad and managed to save a few thousand dollars. And yes we would do it again if we had to. We are lucky because DFs dad respects our privacy and we would have our own room and bathroom anyway.
