    Default Kween K'iesha's Chatroom

Lillystar - PCO is where you have poly cystic ovaries, PCOS is where you also have extra hair growth and/or irregular periods. I know this because my fertility specialist diagnosed me at my follicle scan for our recent ivf cycle and I had been completely unaware before then (despite studying PCOS at uni). He sent me home with lots of reading material. Some people don't ovulate with PCOS however losing a little bit of weight can help reduce the effects of PCOS and can restart ovulation in some people.

Tigger - So so sorry to hear that line is lessening, that is so incredibly unfair. 5 miscarriages is far too many for any one to endure.

In regards to progesterone and FET, I can only speak from my own protocol. We are doing an HRT protocol for our FET and I am due to start progesterone four days before transfer and continue, if pregnant, until 12 weeks of pregnancy. I have heard of a lot of FS in Brisbane putting all patients having transfers on progesterone. If we had done our fresh transfer we would have started the progesterone the day after EPU.

MrsJ - a huge congratulations, I hope you enjoy every moment of being pregnant. Sounds like it all worked out for the best getting the tests back when you did.

Sorry but my memory fails me at this point and I find I am unable to remember what else I was going to write as personals. Many apologies to all those I have missed.

Thank you for starting the new thread, this is a great group to be a part of.

For those of us with low AMH I just found this article which makes me feel a bit better - looks like AMH scores can be pretty low and still predict menopause at a normal age.

    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0627201251.htm

AMH levels of at least 4.5 ng/ml at the age of 20, 3.8 ngl/ml at 25 and 2.9 ng/ml at 30 all predicted an age at menopause of over 50 years old. The researchers found that the average age at menopause for the women in their study was approximately 52.

    Default Kween K'iesha's Chatroom

    OMG, Houston, we have spotting!

TMI.. Did my usual check-wipe when I peed just then, and the CM was a different shade of yellow than usual, so I kind of "pushed" for a few seconds and wiped again... pink!

    *does the happy dance*

Provided I get some red flow tomorrow, I should be able to go for a BT on Saturday morning.

All hail K'iesha, Kween of the Bogans! *bows*
