Sitting at the gp clinic having a glucose tolerance test...

Lucky, I think we all have a plan b. And for those of us with more complicated probs it will take a few more goes! Xx

Mrs j I echo the honey lemon comments. I've got a cold too :

    Wunsi

    gl today working and zak

kandp pls don't freak. they are just grades. what they mean is the chances are lower but not zero. I know how u feel. had a cycle where our five embies all arrested between d4 and d5 - a sperm thing and I cried in the chair at the et. But they still had a chance and so no regrets. You have embies still in the game. One near compacting is good. Hang in there. Remember so much if IVF is unknown and the biggest unknown area is what happens after they transfer. I am talking to the universe for u. Massive cyber hugs.

    Hello everyone else!!
    xx
    sorry for typos

Oh KandP i know how you feel. We had grade 3 and i had so much hope. I also have 4 frozen grade 3 embryos so one better make it. After my first cycle i am not sure i can go through this again.

I absolutely take my hat off to the long term IVF warrior women.

Kandp, I'm thinking saizen too. But doing pgs first just to see what is going on. Remember the sperm plays a major role after d3 too

K&P - Will be keeping everything crossed for you. I know the results are not ideal, but there is still hope and one of those embryos could be the perfect one. There are no guarantees. Last cycle I had a supposedly awesome embryo implanted, but it turned out it was probably not so awesome (hence the miscarriage). You never know, and there is every chance that one of those could be absolutely fine.

Workingmumma - Thinking of you! Hope the 2ww goes FAST for you!

One blastocyst on board, they didn't hatch it as they said the lining was thin and it would be fine hatching itself. The transfer was quite long and painful, apparently I have a very high cervix, my poor fs had to work super hard to get to it, and because of my caesar scar it made it more complex. What should have been a quick easy procedure was long and painful. My FS is fantastic though and handled it all with his great sense of humour. At the end he showed us the embryo in utero on the ultrasound, tiny like a poppy seed, now it just needs to settle in and grow, BT 3/9. Glad yours went well Zakmick.
