Mrs J - the sore boobies will come, don't worry <3 All things being equal, i'm going in for a day 5 transfer on Saturday morning.

Sel22 - oh honey, i know that feeling of "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH MY BODY???" There is not much to say that will make you feel better either, you just have to keep on truckin and venting away in here.

The grading system at my clinic is 1 being the least quality and 5 being the best. My nurse said that it's extremely rare for them to grade an embryo at 5, as they are quite picky with that. My nurse is happy with the way they are growing, especially the 12 cell ones. I'm just hoping that by tomorrow they've reached morula stage. I think once they reach blasty stage, they grade them with a number and then the AA, AB, AC, CC, etc. I feel a whole lot better than last time we cycled a few months ago, as by this stage, they weren't looking awesome. We actually had double the fert rate from last time - 5 mature/3 fert and this time 6 mature/6 fert.

12DPO BT indicates BFN today. I'm changing BFN to BFFN. That stands for Big Fat F&@cked-Up Negative. So devastated, for some stupid reason I actually thought it was our month....

J hun Im so sorry. This process is plainly just fing hard and I like the BFFN!
Nothing I can say to help I know

    KandP - thanks
And my clinic grades the other way round, for blasts, 1 best, 4 or 5 the worst and then the AA, AB etc. I think your clinic is smart for never giving 5s, cause in some respects that just sets people up for heartache...
Our were from a "perfect" blast and really it was text book. But FS says that the grading is just a grading system based on best knowledge, and still its 50/50 that its not an abnormal embie with such visual grading. (Sorry if that is insensitive to say, I hope it isnt, it helps me to understand why some embies dont make it, even when they look fantastic! FS also says they had a lady carry a baby to term last year with the worst grade embie - so you just never know! I like to know the stats!). Hence the PGS for us next time, if we get blasts and if this ###$$%#$^#$^$%^$%^ body does what it should

Universe, please look after the girls on here, and there eggies and embies. Thank you, Sel

    Hello all.

Transfer went well. Dr and embryologist were really happy with the embryos.
Three transferred : all 8 cells

We also have 4 Popsicles. One was at 13 cells so they couldn't keep it.

Now to wait the two weeks
