Default Re: Is 4.45pm too early to give toddler dinner?

Depends on our day with work and school usually but dinner is usually 5pm for the child if I am super busy. We used to always eat dinner about 4pm as it was a good time for us.

My kids are 5 and 3.5 and we have dinner between 4.30 and 5 every day
They go to bed at 6.30 (stories, teeth etc starting from 6pm) so we need to eat that early to fit in their shower and a bit of a play.

Do the ladies who give their kids early dinners (before 5) also give them afternoon tea? If so what time?

We do Lunch at 11.30 ish...then DD has a bottle and then a nap 1.30-3.30pm...no afternoon tea for her.

DS has afternoon tea while DD sleeps...but he will eat at every opportunity (hence his 2 dinners lol)

For me, the kids wake at 6 and have breakfast at 6.30 or 7 when they get hungry. So because it's early they have dinner early then an early arvo snack and early tea. Basically everything is just shifted an hour or two earlier. Been working fab for us!
