    Default Mattress Protector for toddler

Did you get anything special for when your toddler moved into a single bed? My 2 year old is moving into one soon we haven't started toilet training but will be very soon.
Any recommendations on a good mattress protector?

We got a waterproof terry toweling covered one from Kmart... Within 6 months the lining cracked! We now have one from Myer (can't recall the brand sorry) and it looks better quality so far

    Default Mattress Protector for toddler

DS turned 2 last week & has been completely TT for a few months now, however when we started TT I looked into getting a mattress pad specifically for TT (it goes on top of your normal mattress protector & sheets & is about 1m x 1m, machine washable etc can't remember the brand off the top of my head sorry) in the end we didn't need it as DS picked it up super fast & just got up in the night when he needed to go.

Let me know if you want me to find the name of the mattress pad I looked into. Apparently they're really absorbent, claimed to hold something like 2L of liquid...

I bought a brolly sheet! Well two actually :-) I love them, they are a little expencive I think it was close to $70 for the two of them but they are really good cos they go over the top of sheets so you only have to change the brolly sheet if it wets....

I have one a got from Spotlight - there were some cheaper ones but they felt a bit crunchy so I went for the more expensive one, which I think was only around $35.

When I make up the bed I put on a normal mattress protector followed by a fitted sheet, then the waterproof protector and another fitted sheet. This way if they wet the bed in the middle of the night I only have to pull of the top 2 wet layers and the bed is already made. Much easier than fumbling around in the middle of the night trying to remake the bed. I think I got this tip from BubHub a few years ago

I have a mattress protector and a borrly sheet like thing on my DS bed. The brolly sheet is for just in case. He may have an accident once or twice a month but they are great if they are unwell with a vomity bug too. Would much rather change a bed pad than the whole bed.

I <3 my lorraine lea linen mattress protector. We have one on our bed too. They are sooo soft and fit so well. they are $$$$ but so worth it.

Tried a Target style brolly sheet - lasted 3 months & now leaking through!
Bought original brolly sheets online much better quality. They are great and worth every cent!

Yes, I concur on the Brolly Sheet. Very useful. But just have more than one because they take a while to dry.
