Default Newborn & 18mth old - capsule & pram advice

I'm posting here for higher traffic!

I'm pregnant with no2, which will only be an 18mth difference between bubs. This is a lot closer than we had originally planned, so there are a few things I now need to consider which I'm hoping you ladies can help with.

I'm trying to decide on whether to get a capsule for first few months, so I don't constantly wake new bub up getting in and out of car like I did with DS. I also thought it may be easier to carry a capsule whilst also wrangling a young toddler? When going to people's places the capsule also means not having to get pram out all the time?

With DS we haven't used the pram that much, I usually wear him. I'm thinking I could wear new bub whilst DS is in pram, but this may not always be convenient. So what have you done with 2 under 2? Is it worth getting a double pram since DS is still so young? Or just carry new bub?

I can't comment on two under two, but I had a capsule for my ds (first and only, so far) and it was really great! I initially carried it a fair bit, but as he grew it was too heavy, I'd be making sure you have a compatible pram for it so that you can put it on the pram. If I was getting a double pram (and budget wasn't an issue) id get a bugaboo donkey, it seems to be really great!

I've currently got a Cameleon but if I get a double ten yes would definitely upgrade to Donkey - so great advice thanks!

Yes I was thinking the Maxi Cosi since it has adaptors for pram? I just hated waking DS up all the time and ended up planning days around his sleep times, which was restrictive.

I am due to have #3 in Feb and have DS who will be 17months, I am planing on getting the capsule for my strider, then it is less time consuming getting in and out of the car. Also good for visiting and quick trips

Also can't comment on 2 under 2, but I have a capsule that is compatible with my pram and LOVE it. It's so good to be able to get stuff done without waking bub!! Would definitely recommend it

Subscribing. I am due to have my second in Nov (DD will be 2.5). We have a pram and capsule on layby, but I am still undecided if the capsule will be useful!

I love capsules, find them so easy to transfer bubs in and out of car without waking plus if you have a travel system it's even better..
As far as a double pram yes they do make times easier but if you are always carrying bub in a sling then then it's definitely doable..
