Default Does any one else's baby do this?

My 4mth old cries out really loudly after going down for the night. It's usually about an hour into her sleep cycle. It's a really weird cry, like she had a bad dream or she is scared. I don't need to go to her as she is still asleep & the scream only lasts about 30sec then she settles back down then doesn't wake for another 4hrs.

Does anyone else's baby do this? I'd love to know why she does this & what it means!

Yep, all three of mine have. I think it is dreaming, or maybe random wind pain. I think it is more likely dreaming as my 4 and almost 3 year old still do it, but yell out a sob/wail like "Mamaa" but then I go in and they are asleep. Pulls on my heart, poor little things having little dreams! - that's why I tell myself it is wind pain!!

Yes my 10 mth old did it twice last night. First at 3.30 and I sent in DH and he was still fast asleep, again at 4.30 when I though "here we go, time to get up..." but thankfully he was still fast asleep. Sometimes he giggles in his sleep too...

Yep, it is the transition of sleep cycles, totally normal and very annoying

Yep same here, it's like a really sad scream/squeaky cry. Scared the ^*it out of me when she first did it!
