I have only 1 bub and a cleaner who comes fortnightly. I don't feel guilty at all, I'm a SAH MUM not a SAH Cleaner.

I'd dearly love a cleaner. But I want the house perfectly sorted before we get one. The chances of our house ever being presentable for a cleaner are zippo with three dogs and an almost 4yo!

I've had one since DD was a baby and don't feel guilty at all! I still clean but now I have extra time to spend with DD. Win win in my opinion.

I had one, and will be again once our finances are improved, it's worth it no matter how many kids you have. I have 2 boys and a girl on the way and I barely have the energy to do the cleaning. If you can have one DO IT! You will love it!

    GO FOR IT!!

I've had one since my first was 6 months, and SAHM.. but went back to work part time and now bub number 2 is here (mine are similar ages to yours) so on leave again.

There is so much more to life than cleaning. But getting a cleaner wont get rid of your daily jobs... eg dishes cooking washing etc.
But it does mean you don't spend your weekends vacuuming mopping scrubbing showers/toilets. If your toddler is anything like mine doing these jobs is near impossible as they either smear yoghurt on the wall with their tongue while you whizz round with the vacuum (mine did this the other day)).

I figure that I don't do things liek getting my nails done or stuff like that... it is the best $60 a fortnight for 3 hours I spend.

An added bonus is my son loves her and follows her and helps her clean and she adores him and i go rest with bubba

I so want a cleaner and DH is very opposed to it. I'd do it behind his back but just couldn't lie to him. When 3 comes I have no idea how I'm going to get it all done...its already worrying me.

If I can afford it next time im a SAHM, for sure I would have a cleaner!!

Gives you a reason to be out of the house with your babies for a few hours every wk and perhaps a 'break' when they're napping

    DO IT!

I have a husband & wife team that come every week and I love them. They do all the jobs I hate and I get that extra time with my DD. And with a toddler I still feel like I'm cleaning all the time anyway, but it ensures the deep cleaning is taken care of.

Before having a kid I probably would have thought it was lazy. But now I say go for it. What would take someone else 2 hours, might take you 4+ with kids hanging off you.

Outsourcing cleaning so you don't have to outsource child-care, sounds good to me!

If you can afford it then do it. I'm a big believer in outsourcing
