congrats on making the decision to quit.

Can i suggest a few strategies to help?

recognise your triggers that make you feel like a cigarette...

some people it's while htey have a coffee, or at the computer, or as a stress relief.

MAke a plan for what you want to try when those things happen to distract yourself...

have a glass of water, a shower, go for a walk, call a friend... anything that you can try.

If you need to keep your hands busy do something with them.

Not taking your anti depressants will be making you feel 10 x worse too so try get someone to get them asap.

    all the best

    WELL DONE EP & hugsbunny!!!

Go on you both for making the decision to quit!!!

I'll try not to ramble on too much about how many times I had 'try' before I 'kicked' the habit, but here's my 2cents

DAY 1 and DAY 2 are just as hard as each other. You are physically and psychologically withdrawing from the habit.

DO NOT RELAPSE on DAY 3.. it's not worth it, it's really not.

DAY 4.. your on the home straight.

Do not let your mind/the addiction TRICK you into thinking you can have 'just one', you can't, and you have to be strong & remember that.

Get someone to pick up your ADs asap.

And maybe even tell your interviewer that you are quitting. That way IF you are gittery or take a moment to think of responses they will know why & understand & it might even help relax you.

I'm so proud of you both! Keep up the awesome work!!
