Default when does milk supply settle down?

DD is 5 weeks old, and right up until this morning I've always woken up with rock hard leaky boobs, was able
to feed her until she was full and still able to express 150/250 mls.

today they feel heavy, but not solid like the past 5 weeks.
is his because my supply has finally settled?
    thanks

I'd say it has. Mine settled at about 6 weeks.

Somewhere around 6 to 8 weeks for most women it settles into a supply and demand situation

I did a couple of times a day (only until about 3months though) and would get anywhere from 80-140mls.

Just as a heads up- some people are great pumpers (I have a friend who pumps 250mls out of each breast morning and night) and others are terrible pumpers- but all great breastfeeders. So don't judge your supply on what you pump or even really compare stats- well unless it is for fun or shock value as in the case of my friend who produces a litre a day lol

I've had 3 babies, and breastfed them all. With the first I had rock hard breasts and leaking for about 8 weeks. With the other 2 I had no engorgement or leaking at all, it was such a relief. With all I have had huge supply but complete inability to express.

Default when does milk supply settle down?

My bub is 5 weeks and mine settled down at 4 weeks . Before that I had to pump between feeds as they were so full. But now I don't feel I have enough to be able to express as well. I would like to express and store do hubby can feed bub some feeds....any suggestions when is best time to pump so I still allow enough milk in breast for next feed if bub feeds every 2-3 hours?
