    As long as your flat mates want to stay you will be fine but call the agent tomorrow, as you said you are only staying till the end of the lease then you only pay until the 7th, also get your part of the bond back from your flat mates and get your name taken off that too

    I think they're leaving too. If so, does this have to be 3 weeks notice?

    Shouldn't they have contacted us re: renewing the lease anyway?

    If you've got it in an email that you were leaving from x date you're in a strong position.

    It's the up to your flat mates to serve their own notice if they plan to leave.

    Once the lease has gone month to month it's a different notice period to that under a fixed term lease.

    14 days before the lease ends or 21 days after , agents should check with tenants before leases expire but most don't! Just check to see if your flat mates gave notice!
