    Default Another child support question...

Hi everyone, a question about child support, my ex currently
dosnt pay cs because apparently he is not working, but I have heard
that he sold his house himself to save money on agent fees
ect, and now he is planning to buy another Reno place to make money, is this
legal? Dosnt seem fair that he make such a profit and I don't get cs

Do a change of assessment. Include any evidence of this in your application.

your entitled to anything he has to declare in his tax each year as income so I would suggest change of assessment now but remember your only allowed so many changed assessments in one year

Depends how much he sold the other one for and what he pays for the next one.

I would ring the CSA. He has to have some income, even if he is on c/link he should be paying a token amount.

    heya, thanks for your replys,

im guessing he has made a profit on the other house, so he can buy another one to renovate, he lives with his gf, and i guessing she is supporting him, as cs has said that he is not claiming benifits at all, i will try and give them a ring and see what they say.
but im guessing that if he is buying and selling houses for profit then that should be classified as an income.... or maybe i have to wait till he does tax (if he does) to get a lump sum....

Unless he has made a big enough profit to buy another property outright, banks won't look at him if he doesnt have a job...

I agree, it should be classed as income, but if he has deductions he can claim against it, it could be made to look like a 'loss' on books...

The gf can get a loan if she is working. My father did that, transferred everything to the new partner's name, stopped working, opened a business with his wife but with everything in her name and left my brother with no financial support during years 11 and 12.
